It didn't work - the music didn't get one bit better.

He should have stack laminated the record when he had the chance - maybe some nice plywood, a choice slab of hardwood, maybe a cake, whatever it takes to make that hideous "music" go away. Miles away.

That was pretty clever.

Using wood glue for that purpose never would have occurred to me.

Now I'll try wood glue on my genitals and see if I can get rid of these damn genital warts.

I wonder if you can play the glue version.

You should clean windows with
this.

Back when there was quick-trying model airplane glue, you could coat a finger tip and enjoy peeling it off as you do for sunburns.

Everything is banned today.

Rubber cement, for instance, which means that on-the-road bicycle tire patches no longer work.

They use to be the work of minutes.

Now you walk home and replace the tube.

It looks fun to peel the wood glue off the LP. What a way to spend the last holiday weekend of summer!

Well maybe this is more of a rainy fall cold winter day project.

Methylene chloride. It is a miracle substance without peer. Best degreaser ever. Unfortunately it has health/environmental issues. It is still available though.

The wood glue trick is brilliant and thanks to Chip for bringing it here. In retrospect, it's obvious to me why this works, but the reasons are altogether pedantic.
