Adm. Bill McRaven: If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed
"Students at the University of Texas at Austin got a rare treat last weekend (May 17) when Naval Adm. William H. McRaven delivered their commencement speech. McRaven, a 1977 UT grad, riffed on the school’s motto (“What starts here changes the world.”) to deliver the 10 lessons he learned during his SEAL training. Among them: If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed."

I'm not a great bed maker.
If it will make that much of a difference, maybe I'll give it a try.
How do you go about it?
It gets easier with repetition... like everything else.
The key for me was when I discovered how much better it was not to keep anything on the bed that didn't have to be there.
Try fitted sheets, ST. Turns bed making into a piece a' cake.

I'm not really sure what that's supposed to mean, having never read the book.
But it seems like pretty good advice.
I'm guessing that Voltaire had somebody else make his bed for him.

It's heartening a liberal university allowed a military man give a commencement. You know there were some protests. Kudos for allowing this great man to speak.
He never said, "Attention to detail"?
