Will DeBlasio demand that selected gas mains be allowed to leak in the Upper East or West sides just to make things equal?
I just happened to be browsing twitter, on my way to work, when I saw this tweet placing the explosion at around 9:45 am. No clue as to how bad it was.

Now I'm listening on the local news to multiple reports of people saying they smelled gas in that area for months.

For months? Did anyone report it?
Listening this AM to 'Live Coverage' reporters indicated that someone in the building next door smelled gas that morning, reported it and that crews were sent out within 5 minutes but not in time.
Malign neglect.
