Answer to "What is the problem?" As U.S. plummets in global press freedom rankings.
Seen on Smalldeadanimals. Well spotted, Kate.
Man, that's a good one. Glenn McCoy. Cartoonist hosted at Town Hall. Works include The Duplex. Works with his brother Gary on daily panel titled The Flying McCoys. (Looks a bit like someone. Let's talk about his hair.)

In comments I see "Fox" non sequitur a lot and I know right off I am reading an idiot.
What a remarkable idea of Facebook to offer a comment section application that runs through their universe. I must turn off "do not track" to allow it. Just to read them. Going through Facebook as it does guarantees the stew pud. Where I can read but not talk back because that involves signing on to that whole dreadful universe.
The "press" willingly surrendered what they "lost."
I look at the major networks, the NYT, the magazines and I see collusion. If there were a money trail to follow, there would be the reason "why" at the end.
Sorry to be so trite but I've lost so much respect for centralized journalism I don't know what else to say.
@chickenlittle
I'm not sure I'd follow a money trail.
Blacks vote as a block... in excess of 90% Democrat. That's the Democrat's margin of victory.
Maintaining a sense of victimization and anger among blacks, and scapegoating whites for the problems of blacks is the bottom line of Democratic politics.
Everything flows from that.
good one!
Even blacks wouldn't've been enough without the massively lopsided Democrat vote of browns and yellows, who unite in only one thing: deep and abiding hatred of whitey. Which is best expressed with the least cost and greatest benefit by voting for the Democrat assault on whites, both financially and culturally. I am so glad I won't live to see Brazil. But I pity, truly pity today's white children.
The shitstain that calls itself Montana Urban Schmendrik would call me a bigot bigot bigot for expressing my love for white children and my fear for their future. Anything. Anything but that! Thus shall you know them, the beasts that slouch toward Bethlehem.
@ST: 2008 wasn't just a black thing, it was also collusion with white feminists who, disappointed with Hillary's primary loss, threw themselves enthusiastically before BHO. Some of them had a visceral loathing of Palin (cf. R&B's shudder-echo last night); others were white women and gays repulsed by McCain's opposition to same sex marriage and gays in the military. They just couldn't bring themselves to vote for that. This resonated again in 2012 when seemingly, same-sex marriage became the defining litmus issue for them, eclipsing even economics.
No it wasn't just a black thing.
Venezuela's Socialist presidente Maduro is blocking twitter.
My parents were New Deal Democrats. Ethnic Catholics were reliably Democratic once upon a time. But people change as they move through time......I don't know if the Democratic coalition is all that solid. Some people pick up a few bucks and start rethinking 50% tax rates. Asians probably aren't all that enthusiastic about affirmative action. Gays don't regard Hispanics as tireless fighters for gay rights. Not all single women regard subsidized contraception and abortion as the defining issue of their life.
The New Deal coalition was made up of northern liberals and southern segregationists. You can only hold together so many contradictions for so long before it all falls apart.
CNN receives money to not run stories the Obama administration (and some foreign governments) do not want broadcast.
MSNBC coordinates its programming with the White House.
Here.
Not a surprise, is it?
And the NYT is becoming the media arm of the HRC campaign.
The apparatchik media. Esp NBC
chickenlittle - perfect assessment.
