I'm lucky to live in a beautiful town that sadly is run by rich white liberal progressives. No one without money can afford to move here anymore. Why? Rich know-it-all liberals thought it would be nice to take tax payer money and buy up all the open space that surrounds Boulder and restrict development. The progressives who live here OKed the tax, and now we have housing shortages and sky-high real estate prices. Shit homes in Martin Acres sell for half a million dollars. Shit houses - total crap. Spike's all right. His movies aren't particularly memorable to me, an exception being X.
I saw X, DTRT, Bamboozled, and Summer of Sam. I don't really remember DTRT much. I can't imagine getting exercised about Spike Lee being a racist! I'm sure it makes him happy if he bothers you.

I used to play softball with Spike Lee in PS 29's on Kane St.

I was happy to stay out of Ft Greene and they were happy to stay out of Carroll Gardens (which was called South Brooklyn at the time).

Seven family businesses that I have patronized for over fifty years have closed in the last year. Turned into banks, chic restaurants and coffee bars for scumbag hipsters to type Yelp reviews on their laptops while sipping lattes.
The avid segregationist and everyman Lee resides on the upper east side of Manhattan and makes regular use of his $3000/game court-side seats at Knicks games. The upper west side no doubt had too many Joos.
So Lee becomes a nativist when the shoe resides on the other foot. Lee has powerful motivation to remove the issue of class from any discussion of gentrification, as do all "thought leaders" of the prig prog color scam.
