"Despite the 24/7 coverage of "Bridgegate" by much of the mainstream media, and the endless speculation about other potential Christie scandals, the New Jersey Governor still has 59% approval among adults in his state, according to a Monmouth University Poll"
Care to speculate as to why people don't seem to be changing their minds about the governor?
CNN is reporting the governor will bring up "Bridgegate" during this afternoon's annual State of the State address.
The speech will be carried live by C-SPAN this afternoon at 3:00 pm ET.

Because like Governor Walker in Wisconsin, Governor Christie put partisanship and his own political interests aside to do what was in his state's best interest (e.g., hurricane Sandy).

Football playoffs?
Impact on National polls has been negligible.
Do we love revenge? He may be a scoundrel, but he's their scoundrel? Most people were not affected? Ft. Lee has a rep as highly corrupt and people figure nothing that happens to it is a real problem?
I don't see many, if any, legislators avoiding the governor.
Standing O
They must have seen the convenient poll numbers this morning.
He started crossing the bridge first.
He's betting on "bipartisanship".
A nod to GOP establishment... donors.
Sick stay.

All the polls I've seen show a small but statistically significant drop in support for him.
Given that nobody was seriously hurt by the scandal and no evidence has been found proving Christie was involved, that seems pretty normal.
Because most of the people who live in Jersey are stupid.
Haven't your ever seen "Jersey Shore?"
