Is Being Cited By Wikipedia A Good Thing Or a Bad Thing?

A contribution to knowledge is a good thing... what could be bad about it eludes me.

Privacy concerns?

At this point... yadi yada

You seem to believe that when something is 'authentic' it contains something extra that would not otherwise be there.

It's possible.

poignancy...

I felt some in this video. between the lines maybe?

Did she dress up for him?... at least, I like to think so.

She's smart, funny and good looking... the kind of good looking I find good looking.

it's a mystery to me.

Maybe poignant is not the right word.

The new and improve Google suggests videos for me to watch... sometimes they are good.

About privacy. It occurred to me the other day... we believe it to be so precious that we legally kill the unborn in its name.

And yet... the NSA spying on Americans, The TSA, the hacking that has become commonplace, speaks of a less than precious regard for it.

Would calling it schizophrenic be over the top?

It doesn't add up, at least to me it doesn't.

Sorry if I'm veering off what you wanted to talk about.

I left out the link...

Well maybe it was some other "polo?"

How do we know this one is / was "real?"

It didn't seem to be foremost on the minds of the Obamacare website.

That's were we are. Maybe they didn't think it was important because they believe we don't think it's important.

I don't know. maybe I'm boing too harsh on us, peons tax payers.

Whoa. El Pollo is the first among the regular cadre to be cited on Wikipedia. Congratulations!

The problem I have with Last Letters is that I heard them read aloud by a brilliant narrator on a local radio station while I was a university student. His reading brought the letters to life, and caused me to believe that they were real.

I have had a change of mind in that I came to believe that they are a well-crafted fiction.

Yes. George Vukelich, aka, "Papa Hambone." I mentioned him the other day in the comments on your "News From Down The Lane" post because your writing theme and style reminded me of him.

So long as both Nazis and commies were dying in reality, then the rest doesn't matter. Have at it, boys.

Wikipedia is questionable, but anything pertaining to exposing the world to more El Pollo Real is a good thing.

It's definitely a good thing El Pollo.

Not as impressive as my citation in the "Last Letters from Penthouse" Wiki, but still good.
