You should be grossed out because it's safe to say that the stuff they encase in chocolate is stuff they buy way cheap because it's the floor sweepings from other processing plants.
I've eaten bacon covered with chocolate, but without the taters. It was pretty good.

Was playing with the Old Dawgz at a festival at the site of the original Woodstock Festival.
I had passed by the vendor selling chocolate covered bacon, and I joked about the product while I was introducing a song. The vendor was so pleased with the biz I sent him that he brought me a package and presented it to me onstage.
I have a sack of commercial potato chips. + I have gigantic boxes of dark chocolate, and I mean gigantic, and also bacon. Plus an Idaho potato that could make thicker chips.
I could make chocolate covered potato chips. With specks of bacon here and there.

I would try it.
The price of our favorite bacon (very thin slices) has skyrocketed and we are fasting from bacon these days.
Only an occasional batch, (and not as tasty.)
