I live in (near) Albuquerque and other than the vague suspicion that this is about Breaking Bad I have not a clue what you're asking having never watched a single episode.
I made a good faith effort to watch Breaking Bad. Watched maybe eight episodes.
That Cranston guy is great. I think I'd probably pay money to watch him eat a sandwich.
That other guy, not so much. I realize he's supposed to be an idiot but sometimes an actor ought not be so convincing that he gives the impression he's not acting at all.
I bailed on Game of Thrones after maybe three or four episodes.
There's a fine line between the depiction of cruelty as a force of evil that must be conquered and the depiction of cruelty intended to excite the audience's desire to vicariously experience the thrill of visting cruelty upon others.
I like Boardwalk Empire so far, but the writers don't really use the actors they have to full effect.
Kelly Macdonald, however - hoowee - what a babe. She was awesome in No Country for Old Men, too - I had never seen her work before and based on that movie, I assumed she was from Texas. That is not an easy accent to master. She nailed it.
There are too many great programs I have not seen, e.g., Six Feet Under and 24, that I can't waste my time on stuff like Boardwalk Empire (apologies to fans).
I watched the first two seasons of Breaking Bad, frigging excellent, but bailed when I thought it got self-indulgent (caught a few eps, here and there). I saw the last show of the last season, and was in again.
Just watched "Rabid Dog" - wow. Skylar shows her dark side. As usual, I saw none of this coming and have no idea how the show will end.
"The Wire" - watched some of it and its a well written, well acted show. I just couldn't get into the characters. Right now I'm starting "Boardwalk Empire" which seems interesting.
The Wire is pretty good at showing big city corruption.
None of the non-local actors could even come close to getting the Bawmer accent correct. The locals could not speak in any accent other than pure Dundalk.
Deadwood - some object to the language, some object that the language is inauthentic, I objected to the ending.
They just showed Hank's bookshelf in the last "Breaking Bad" episode. On the bookshelf was a DVD of "Deadwood". Ha, something for the show's obsessives.
Well, we know Walt is still alive on his 52 birthday, about six to nine months into the future from where the show is now, so I'm voting for Walt. Jiminy Cricket* is probably going to get his.
What I'm curious about is what does Walt intend to do with the ricin he recovered on his birthday? I'm speculating that Marie is going to try to poison Walt, and will instead end up poisoning Skyler. Which could well (depending on the poison) end up poisoning Holly. I'm thinking Walt is back on his birthday to exact revenge. On the other hand, he seemed awfully cheery when he said "Hello, Carol" so maybe now.
I got hooked, so to speak, on BB after resisting it for a long time. Marie may be the wild card this season. She seems to be getting a little unhinged.
I do not get The Wire. I have watched about 5 episodes based on a friend's recommendation. It's just not clicking. Will it get better if I continue to watch?
I would say the following about The Wire - Irish actors cannot speak in a true Baltimoron accent, democrat run cities are far more corrupt than depicted on The Wire, The Great Society is neither, and the only good speech in the whole series was when Omar took the stand and explained what he did and how it was no different than what the criminal lawyer does.
Skylar seems to have gone completely over to the dark side. I'm dying to know what Jesse has planned to catch Walt. Now, Marie might kill Skylar. That was one hell of a smack she gave her when she found out Skylar knew everything before Hank was shot.
People Walt might want to kill: Jesse, Hank, Skyler, Lydia, Saul.
Saul isn't a co-conspirator, so not much motivation to silence him...what would Walt be eliminating? Not much.
Walt's take on Jesse is that he chickened out of torching the place, and he views Jesse as weak and malleable. He doesn't know that Jesse has already ratted him out. Walt wouldn't figure that Jesse would have the guts to rat himself out and go to prison, which is what it would take to rat Walt out.
Lydia and Skyler represent the biggest threats to Walt. They both possess a paper trail that could lead back to him. Lydia hasn't factored in heavily, and the sudden, intense decision to employ Todd's uncle doesn't suggest that it's something he's been contemplating for awhile, which is what it would be if Lydia were his target.
Skyler. She doesn't fear him anymore. Neither does Jesse, for that matter. He lost control of the two people closest to him. Go back to what Walt has been trying to do for five seasons--preserve and provide for his family. He manipulated Skyler for years through romance, domestic duty, his cancer, and ultimately fear. She's broken free of that. He's lost her and needs her back. Todd's uncle may be able to scare her back into his clutches.
Or maybe it's none of the above and Walt simply has thought of another scheme to throw the heat off of himself. The strong hint/cliffhanger feeling was that he's going to take out Jesse, but I don't think so. He needs Skyler back in the neat little box he's placed his domestic fantasy in.
Oops. I forgot to mention Hank. He thinks he took care of Hank with his confession tape, and thinks so little of his brother-in-law that I doubt he would think it even necessary to go after him.

I'd already come to accept that it was 50% soap opera but you eat a bar of soap and the lousy taste stays in your mouth a long time.

Hank did not Mirandize Jesse. Jesse was not sworn in as one would be in a deposition. I think that might be a problem.
But keep in mind, I have never been able to predict what is going to occur in future episodes - I have been wrong 100% of the time.
I don't know. Jesse would be a prosecution witness...but I don't think this thing will get anywhere near a day in court.
