On Channeling & Humor Ketching Up

Good to know I wasn't the only one hearing voices.   Use of Wendy's as the setting is a fun twist that punctuates, like a drip of ketchup from a fry on a console or shirt, the Wall of dementia, delusion and denial that's currently standing in place, or better yet, responsible for driving this country who knows where.

Actually, he's always been like that. Brandon never let logic or facts get in the way of his buffoonery.

Yes, to his ongoing buffoonery. What's always been evident is still there. On top of that, however, is an increase in dementia, more lying and obfuscation at higher levels with wide spread implications, and the delusion held by himself and others that he's still capable and in charge. There's also a media wall of protection and defense that needs to be punched through and torn down.

He's been a greedy grifting buffoonish moron all his life so people are used to it. A little extra greed/grift/buffoonery/moronicism isn't going to move the needle. I remember a discussion back in the day at TOP about how/whether he was a "nice" man, as the CW had it. I couldn't believe how many people were willing to go along with this (completely unsupported) presumption. About a politician, yet! Well, the TV says he's "nice" and he's always got that grin on, so ...
Dr. Jill calling people "tacos" will wake some people up, though.
It'll be interesting to see how people react once the press, who has known his true nature and corrupt exploits all along, starts to run him down more and more. Is everyone suddenly going to switch just because the TV tells them to? (Sigh, probably.)
