OH, Trooper York. I hope this isn't what it seems, but I'm guessing it is. Take care of yourself.

there are doctors who will prescribe interventions and compounding pharmacies who will issue alternative drugs, if needed. It can be hard to find the strength and focus to follow thought however.

For us, it was unlike anything we've ever had, with all four of falling like dominos and experiencing different symptoms in addition to fever, headache behind the eyes and extreme malaise/tiredness. One had has a raw throat and drainage, MrM had terrible back and joint pain to the point of it hurting him to move, I had gastrointestinal distress and nausea followed by intermittent sneezing and coughing (and now strangely enough post menopausal breakthrough--how weird is that?--after a D and C in August and a clean bill of health (no cancer) in that dept, and the other had mostly chest congestion. We are still not completely over it and have felt like hammered shit for two weeks. We're just now starting to come through with more energy. It's the weirdest thing. Unnatural, I say. Different than a cold or the flu. TV and books haven't held our interest and neither has food, with a sense of smell lessened for two of us, and extreme thirst showing up off and on, even after the fever broke. It's like it zapped us of life energy that is slowly starting to return.

May your body fight and find your way through this, back to health and strength again.

for now, MamaM

Just a cold. Nobody gets Oriental Lung Rash if they're not triple shot.

PS Congrats on the no cancer, Mama. Ya gotta take 'em where you can get 'em.

We took home tests and both of us tested positive. Last week we spent on and out it the ER with my mother in law and it was filled with vivid people. Lisa seems to have very mild symptoms and I have a heavy cold with a bad sore throat. So far I have been able to walk it off.

I don’t really trust these home tests so there is that. I will persist with my homeopathic remedies and see if I feel better.

Thanks for the well wishes and advice.

Dang vid. Sounds like it's not as serious as it would have been a year or two ago and I'm glad of that.

Just be careful. You don't want to end up an admiral in the US Health Service like Richard Levine.

Glad you and the Missus aren't hit hard by the lung AIDS, Trooper.
