What's your thoughts on that going up here at Levity as a stand alone post, ampersand? I'd gladly put it up, with you noted as the creator, or without credit attributed to you if you want to keep a lower profile. My preference would be the picture with a short acknowledgement
like, Created by Ampersand. Let me know. I laughed (the LOL kind) when I got to "Don't I know".

Done! Let me know if there's anything about it you want changed in title or credits, as that's easy to do.

It took me a while (with input from sonM) to figure out how to get it copied off Flicker.

Required use of the "Snipping Tool"!! How fun is that. A learned wonder for someone who grew up in the scissors, tape, and even further back, rubber cement generation. One of those tools that if you know where to look and what it is, you can use it, and if you don't you're as locked out as the apes in 2001 Space Odyssey!

Ben F's "Don't I know it" makes me smile every time I see it. It's like hearing a doleful (rueful?) voice from the past, coming from someone who lived large and saw enough wonders and shenanigans to fill a book with observations and make a Declaration!

Before mean tweets Ben wrote letters, stacks of letters

What a mind! It's quite a read. In this day and age, who'd allow someone who lets loose with that much thought to roam around anywhere near the political arena, much less give them a quill.

sOB seems to be Brandon's favorite phrase.

One wonders how Freudian.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."

The reality of an unrecognized grandchild in his family adds another layer on top of the attitudes and beliefs he's carried forward into his adult life and foisted on countless others over the years.

Not only does the auditory version convey a deliberate, pointed meanness, willfully delivered in the form of a boundary-crossing laced with anger, arrogance and condescension (more than a mutter, or a release of general disgust, or accusation delivered to or about the press as some would choose regard as similar to Trump's "fake news" retorts to Acosta about CNN and MSM) the visual element was bad as well. The disrespect and cutting tone appeared intentional, not just the reaction of an aging man entering the dementia zone. What was revealed for all to see and hear, came through as a dangerous combination of the loss of control he's been experiencing due to aging running alongside the strong, ego-driven need to control (frequently through attack and boundary-crossing with those who are not in a position to respond in kind or do more than pull away) he's revealed time and time again. No hiding in the basement with that anymore. It's out there for all to see, socially covered now with an apology, but still what it is under wraps.
