Mum's The Word

The local Gardens deprived me of my Mass Chrysanthemum fix this fall, so I dug up my pictures from years past. Here's a couple:

I went back today, and it was more like:

Nice fall weather, sunlight, breeze . . . and more than half the people there were wearing masks. Sigh.

They look great - can you help a rods and cones deficient brother out an tell me what color they are?

I only attempted growing mums once, they died, so since then I have stuck with trees.

Top two pictures: alternating rows of medium magenta and bright yellow. Bottom picture: magenta.

What kind of color vision deficiency do you have? Red-green?

Yes, the traditional red/green colorblindness. I think it is called deuteranopia, but I could be wrong.

I see those flowers as yellow and blue, but that's how I see almost everything in the world. But I am hard of hearing, so that makes up for it.

Looks like a scene from the Wizard of Oz.

I have little appreciation for flowers. But I grew up in a town w/ a Mum Festival and do appreciate their multi colored beauty.

A fulsome display that's for sure.

Lots of pinching employed.
