See ya later Muslim agitators!

Check out this great article from Roger Kimball about President Trump where he lays out the position that the whacking of this Iranian piece of shit is President Trump's farewell to the Middle East. He basically says that the God Emperor is not invested in nation building with a bunch of sand monkeys and is looking for an excuse to leave.

He talks about how Julius Caesar had enough of the Germans raiding Roman territory so he just built a bridge over the Rhine and kicked ass and took name. Then they left. Because they didn't give a shit about this savages.

The Money Shot:

"The third take away concerns Donald Trump and his legacy. In acting decisively in response to the sighting of Soleimani and his henchman, in acting with caution and deliberation in response to Iran’s calculatedly feeble response, President Trump has showed both that you attack the United States or its people at your peril and that America is getting out of the nation-building neocon regime-change business.
The elimination of Soleimani was not a prelude to deeper US involvement in the Middle East. It was a farewell letter. Always admitting the fickleness of contingency, it nonetheless looks as though Donald Trump will go down as the man who catalyzed the United States economy, who brought unemployment down to historic lows, who goosed real wages, especially at the lower levels, who made important inroads against the stultifying miasma of the the regulatory state while also resuscitating the US military, curbing illegal immigration, and — just now — extricating the United States from foreign involvements that help no one but our enemies"

The Iraqis said all foreign troops must go. Must be a sale. Iranian Generals half off.

Trump doesn't want to pull a Zippy and leave without trying for some stability, but he's closing down most of the wars Zippy started.

PS for those who've seen Cleo, anybody else think Rex walks off with the picture?.

From Kimball's keyboard to God's ear. It doesn't feel that simple, but it would be nice.

Maybe Kimball is right unintentionally:

"While the Iranian strike apparently caused no casualties, the IRGC publicly demonstrated that they can peneterate US air defense using its domestic-produced ballistic missiles and electronic warfare systems (mostly Russian).

Satellite images and visual evidence from the ground demonstrate that the strike was preceise and caused a visible impact to the Ayn al-Assad airbase. The close grouping of destroyed targets serves as a visual demonstration of the accuracy of the Iranian missiles."

Apparently this is only the beginning of Iran's Operation Get Off Our Lawn sweep. There was no attempt to intercept the missiles, although we were on full alert.

It may be real politic to keep a footprint there and in Ukraine, but as far as Iran, they may have us out-teched. (Yes, we could nuke them but....)
