Blog Business

I hope some of our other contributors will post now and again. Since it has been a lot of Sixty and Me I think we are reaching our full complement of curmudgeon. So maybe Chickie or MamaM can bring a little light and airy to the premises. To get away from the Dark Side.

Eddie and the Cruisers is an interesting little movie. It had some good songs and was a riff on Jim Morrison and other rock stars who died before their time. It had several hit original songs including the "Dark Side." All of them were written and performed by John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band.

Of course I always enjoy a film with a brown beaver.

Bonus Round: Whose that girl!

The ever-luscious Pam Grier.

Check out Bad Grandmas. She and Florence Henderson off a bad guy.

I liked Pam Grier in Jackie Brown.

But back to the business at hand - Troop, check the blog stats - your posts bring the greatest number of eyeballs to the site. The people have spoken, and while much of what they said cannot be repeated, the overall message is clear - more Trooper posts! Go for it dude - you are a natural.

A blog doesn't run itself without some underpinnings in place. Those need to be present and accounted for in order for it to roll along as the world turns in shadow and light.

With ChipAhoy's departure the question of who is currently holding the reins or what hook they were left hanging on needs to be answered.

I was an extra in that flick - had a few passers-by and background shots in there somewhere. Got to know Joey Pantaliano during filming. Fun times in Wildwood, NJ

I read the cast list for that movie and saw that Joey Pants was in there. Imus used to talk about him. Or was it Joey Pots and Pans. I can't keep those guys straight...
