I know that feeling. Losing. Crushed. Defeated. Finding. Joy. A cat went missing for 3 weeks once. A stupid cat. I was wrecked beyond anything I could have imagined. I stopped eating. I was a mess.
She re-appeared in the hood 3 weeks later. Got the call from a neighbor who spotted her on a roof down the block. after 3 weeks of looking all over and signs with a reward offered, and calling local shelters etc.. She was very shy and would not allow anyone near her, so I knew she would never be at the shelter. no way. but I called anyway. The morning of the day she re-appeared, before she did re-appear, I finally came to grips with her being gone. I finally found a drop of peace. That afternoon she was home.
Little shit.
That doggie is so cute. The wagging happy tail!
