The Drudge link goes to news.com.au that admits a mystery surrounds the death of Noa Pothoven who tried to be euthanized.
Her request was denied.
However her parents allowed her to starve herself to death. That is, they didn't force-feed her.
And there's a gigantic difference between state sanctioned euthanasia of children and parental refusal to force-feed their child.

Fake news. All over the place.
The story is catalogued on Naomi O'Leary's Twitter account if you care to see more of the details.
If you do go to Twitter for more details then you will see other items that you might find interesting. Like students ritually washing the Pillar of Shame, a tall pink statue of stacked bodies. You end up learning things, like such a statue exists.
HKU students symbolically wash the Pillar of Shame statue commemorating the victims of China’s massacre of pro-democracy student protestors on this day in 1989. Beijing’s Communist rulers have tried to suppress all memory of the massacre, but Hong Kong keeps it alive. pic.twitter.com/dURIrlNzaY— Keith Richburg (@keithrichburg) June 4, 2019
I'm imagining that if Chinese in Hong Kong can erect such a statue to emphasize their disgust with Chinese Communist government crushing pro-democracy students by massacre, then American pro-life activists could find a host spot and do something similar.
(It looks like the bottom gets a lot cleaner than the top.)

She was euthanized by the G-damned state despite her parents refusal to give permission.
Ricpic, I might have it wrong. The way I read it is the girl wanted to use state services to end her life because the pain of being raped was too much to bear. But the doctors refused to help her.
So her parents allowed palliative care that didn't force-feed her. They cared for her as she died.
