This is a Russian group that started a dance craze last Fall. The lead is a character that you'll find a bit difficult to appreciate but the kids love him for this and for his other videos.
Now here's the really weird part.
The previous video captured the attention of young people worldwide and they've imitated the style and produced their own silly videos incorporating the elements that amuse them in this one; barking dog, rooster with elongated human mouth, sideways partners doing pelvic thrusting, walking flatfooted through town with their toes pointed outward doing alternating opposing side punches, macarena moves, lifting knees, sunglasses, maintaining stoic expression, walking into an ordinary scene with people who all get up and do the same dance as if that is normal on this very odd planet, inability to do simple things like drink water or pass a flower to another dancer.
There are hundreds of videos on YouTube of young people having made their own version. The whole world had a very great deal of fun with this.
