Sharyl Attkisson plays 'let's pretend" what an insurance policy against Trump might look like.

Then she describes what actually happened. The great thing about collating the various strands of things that we know about what people did is that picture is static. The puzzle doesn't move. Although the picture is still developing and several principals are still active; Mueller is still carrying on his bogus investigation, and big wigs in intelligence community, part of the cabal, are still with media outfits disseminating misinformation, keeping people angry about the wrong things, and commenting on their own malfeasance, they're not shifting around. So Sharyl describes the picture on her puzzle piece by piece, and it is fascinating.

I wish that I could collate this well. Just recalling what she wrote, I'd be a major hit at dinner parties. Because I'd be saying things that people haven't heard, and they never hear anything this cogent, this comprehensive, this factual and this persuasive. And she's so delightfully innocent, just imagining what it might look like, if we weren't in Fantasyland. But we're not in Fantasyland. And it did all happen. She doesn't say that, but she does say that, she's imagining, what really happened. She's just thinking. You're forced to accept facts without her insisting you do. It's very feminine style. And it's devastating.

Best of all, she begins by answering why people in Washington would feel a need for an insurance policy against Trump. And it isn't very nice.

I wonder why she published her piece on the Hill. That place has a straight up mental readership apparent in the comments.

Recomendado. Ustedes les gustarĂ¡.

I never realized Miss Atkisson could be so droll.

Thanks for the link, Chip. Excellent.

She is a real journalist. Why she was fired for CBS. Not a Democrat hack.

Dick, Most objective investigative journalist currently working. Seems like many of the straight, courageous reporters are women. Her, Zito, Strassel to name 3.

"Well done" was my response at the end. I wasn't amused so much as awed by her ability to hit the nail on the head, while inviting others into a clear and well set out consideration. It's a synthesis of what if this was real and this is real that goes way beyond droll from my POV and doesn't use the troll's tools of provocation, manipulation and deceit to make the point.

This part of ChipA'a analysis is also right on: And it did all happen. She doesn't say that, but she does say that, she's imagining, what really happened. She's just thinking. You're forced to accept facts without her insisting you do. It's very feminine style. And it's devastating.

I see it as an example of the balance I continue to tout as healthy, involving a blend of truth and grace.
