Here is a mother daughter whose those girls. The Mom is someone you can lose your head over and the baby grew up to star in one of the longest running TV shows of all time. Even though their time together was short the daughter never thought of herself as special or of being a victim of life's circumstances. She overcame adversity to forge a long and very successful career in a show that I never watch.

Me neither. Never watched a procedural type show. The appeal escapes me.
I wouldn't watch SVU, too depressing, and didn't like the co-star guy...too pouty. But loved Law and Order, the original.
I've become somewhat of an aficionado of crime shows. I mean binge watching them. Really liked Border Town (Finnish).
A different category would be what I call Zombie type, which is not my thang. But Fortitude is quite good because of the Scandi-noir element and great acting. Picture an unearthed Mastadon starting a (slow-spreading) zombiesque illness. I think the third and final season airs this year.

I loved it when Merv would have theme shows. I'm guessing the theme of this show is Hoochy Mamas.
