The sound track is unintelligible to my deaf ears but the CC is hilarious. Seriously, even if you can hear it is worth trying to make sense of that clip based on machine generated closed captions.
Supposedly Costello did the TV show because he wanted a permanent record of their stage act. That's what the first season was about. Probably Vaudeville and not the Burlesque shows. Purported Abbott and Costello joke;
