Arnold Palmer (drink)

Rosewood on Netflix. The female cop character said her daddy used to hustle pool players at that pool table over there in the background and let her drink all the Arnold Palmers she wants. Never heard of it. Turns out to be lemonade and iced tea unmixed. Doesn't it look great?

I have heard of that drink, I don't know why, maybe here in the land of sweet tea drinks that include tea are kind of popular. What cracks me up is that if you add vodka it becomes the "John Daly". Did I ever tell you about the time I saw Daly play at Pinehurst No. 2 during the 1999 U.S. Open? No? Funny story...

I've heard of it. Your recipe does not include alcohol. Every time I've seen it it's got alcohol in it. It's definitely a summer drink and it's deceptive because the lemonade and the sugary tea hides the extent of the alcohol content.

OT: Did you guys know that Washington crossed the Delaware to the Jersey side on Christmas Eve? Two thousand four hundred troops. And when they got to the Jersey side they all asked, "What's that smell?"

A joke I heard on the radio today.

Sure, I've heard of it as an Arnold Palmer or a virgin Arnold Palmer. They sell them in cans on many golf courses (add your own vodka on the course). I believe Arnold himself had it as Iced Tea with a splash of Lemonade (plus vodka? I don't know).
