Two of the weirdest videos ever.

why did they put that poor dog in the raging water?
Are they trying to torture the poor thing?

Chip - where did you find those videos? Some sort of official animal torture?

The second video, the cat, which does not act like it's feral, but quite tame is placed inside of a front car spring, and it looks like they were mounting it back on the car.

Totally most weirder.

LOL. You guys....... The videos are being played backwards. They saved the dog from the water. They removed the cat from the auto spring.

We have a very active group in our area that deals with the feral cat problem and abandoned or abused dogs. The cats are live trapped, if healthy enough....then neutered or spayed, inoculated for rabies etc. Their ear is clipped to show that they have been treated and they are released into the wild...or adopted if they seem to be tame or friendly enough.

The dogs are given the same treatment, sans the ear clipping or releasing back into the wild. Most often the dogs are adoptable and they find homes.

Because of this program, the plethora of feral cats has been reduced significantly which is great for the wild bird and domestic chicken populations :-) Good work SNIP !!!

LOL. I LIKE this method of cat transport. It really reduces the wear on your shocks, too!

Next up, child-size spring cages!

"No, I won't turn this car around, but I'll put you in the spring next to Mr. Whiskers if you kids don't knock it off."

Of course, it would have a water bottle like a hamster so the kids would be OK.

I loved these so much. Looked for more "reverse rescues" but so far these are the only two. The dog one is especially good and the cat one just f'n weird. It's some weird public electrical wiring protection cage. I bet James will know.

I dropped James, my brother, a note yesterday telling to expect a package and it's not his but for his boys, and goodness, did he go on about those two boys. A full page rattling on about their activities and the their relationship. He said I must know that the oldest loves his Snap Circuits toy and plays with it every day. He goes, I'm not exaggerating. Every single day he's wrapped up with his circuits. And the younger one loves the older one so he's right there being amazed by his older brother.

Man, just like I was constantly amazed with my older brother. He constantly constantly constantly blew my mind. And now these two are described similarly. I bet if they play with the pop-up book just right they can reach into while opening and closing and have the shark bite their hand. It's the sort of thing we would do.

I caught on early something was amiss with the video.

What are your legal obligations if you hit a dog on the road?

MamaM said...

As for obligations when hitting another living being, I don't have to read the article to know the first thing to do is stop being an ass and show some integrity.

SanctimonyM. I'm unclear as to whether this is a reference to yourself or an attempt to use sanctimony to misidentify me. Either way it comes across as a juvenile response.
