Up until that eastern military stupidity, I'd have to agree, but effective is an amoral standard. The death camps were effective at their purpose. Obama has been effective at a lot really bad stuff. Ruining health care, expanding executive powers, inflaming racial relations, weakening American foreign influence, expanding the ISIS franchise, etc. I think he's been much more effective than anyone expected.
Oh yea, and he's been the most effective gun salesman in history, with a unmatched marketing campaign that just keeps sales coming - a genuine rainmaker.

Actually, when you look at all the intellect they lost and how corrupt it was and how many attempts were made on his life that failed because of the erstwhile assassins and the fact that, had there not been a war, his deficit spending would have plunged the Reich into another Depression it really wasn't all that great.

Picking a fight with the British Empire and the US wasn't too smart, either, as was depending on the Eyeties, Rumanians, and Bulgarians as your chief allies.
I don't think Obama is comparable to any other leader or ruler or dictator. I can understand Hitler. Same for Mussolini. Same for Stalin. They all had human qualities. I know, you're not supposed to admit that, especially regarding Hitler, but it's true. They all said things or wrote things or partook in historical movements that I can understand. Not Obama. Pure malevolence. That's all he emits. You could say that Obama is the perfect product or representation of a ruling class that hates its own nation and its own people. So maybe he does represent a historical movement. Except that there never has been a moment, up till now, when a nation's ruling class hates its nation and burns to punish it to the exclusion of any other motivation.

A black woman my senior is holding open the door for me, a prince strutting through.

Behind all that these two people couldn't give a shit about 2nd amendment rights, gun control, NRA, Democrat presidents exceeding their authority and not being checked by 4th estate, but they both undoubtedly are well satisfied with their president, and both probably dislike the big political meanies trying to stop him.

He hates us because he can never be one of anything and he sees little, if anything, of which he wants to be a part. As the acolytes thin out, it's going to be interesting to see how he ages because, unless he has some loathsome disease, he's going to have a long time alone on his estate.
I don't think any world leader ever succeeded in being such a total and abject failure as Hitler. The Third Reich will last a thousand years as a paradigm of evil. Hitler succeeded in utterly remaking the German character but not in ways he expected. No more dueling scars or militarism for the Germans. By failing so completely and thoroughly he had as much to with the creation of modern Germany as Bismarck.......Nazism was like the Ebola virus. It killed the host before it could spread to its neighbors. Communism is more like TB. It was a slow wasting disease that allowed its host to live long enough to spread the disease. Within this metaphor, it is perhaps useful to note that consumption gives its victims a flushed complexion and heightened sex drive. TB victims are quite attractive early in the disease........It's kind of grandiose to complain that Obama is worse than Htler, Mussolini, and Stalin combined. So far as pathologies go, he's nothing worse than a head cold. It's unappealing to see all that snot dripping down from his nose, but there's no mortal risk.
