When we condescendingly treat a group as children, with some BS excuse, why are we surprised they go all "Lord of the Flies" on us? Worse actually, as they go that way on themselves as well.
Bagoh20 makes a good point, if you enable this behavior, soon enough the purportedly demeaned group feels "superior"...because we taught them that....not by recognition of accomplishment, but by essentially bribery. Go figure.
