What strange goods and services is your state researching on Google? Apparently California has been looking into the price of facelifts, tummy tucks, swimming pools and marriage licenses, while Oklahoma is curious about the cost of breast lifts, liposuction, gas and daycare, according to
Fixr.com, a cost-estimating website."
"Fixr created the map below with Google Autocomplete, typing “How much does * cost in Sacramento, California?” into Google for each state or state capital, and then
marking down the most commonly searched-for good or service."

What Am I missing with North Dakota?
B flat?
I'm glad there are options for facelifts.
After the facelift I can come back home and smoke a big doobie without being hassled by the fuzz.
It's not strange.
WI pays a bunch for electricity compared to all but a handful of other American states, so clearly residents have caught on and wonder why.
Other states have similar cause/effect unless I mistaking correlation causally.
B flat.
Holy shit.
"What am I missing with North Dakota?"
That's a good question. North Dakotans are googling the price of a minor?! Yikes.
In Texas, on the other hand, they are shopping for nannies
Wow, talk about your first world priorities.
I imagine all those facelifts in California are just millions of women trying to impress ME.
I imagine.
That is surprisingly diverse, and in a weird way. It's clear that we need states and their separate governance.
