A slap is more fitting for an effeminate like him. But he is contemptible.

He seems to think the IRS is held in such high esteem that the American public wouldn't love to see the IRS commissioner frog-marched out of the Internal Revenue Building.

If ever a sacrificial goat existed, this is the guy. he doesn't go under the bus, he goes right out the exhaust.

PS Twitchy brings us a reminder of how secure IRS servers are.

Now THAT is one fantastic graphic!

Too bad it can't actually happen...some big Congressman get up and just blast that punk in the mouth.

Amazing. The USA just becomes more cynical and corrupt, year after year. Could Nixon, Reagan, Bush I, or Bush II have gotten away with this? Nope.

Even Billy Bob Clinton would have been damaged. But the Big "O" ? He just slides by. Nothing to see here folks, just move along.

Can liberals be trusted anymore? Do they really give a damn about the country, or good government?

Sometimes I feel like its Russia circa 1917.

It was revealed during this guy’s confirmation process that he's donated $80,000 to support Democratic political campaigns since 1989. Nice piece of change. Pretty much indicates he'll die on whatever hill Obama picks for him.

And you gotta love that he said in his confirmation hearing that "public trust is the IRS' most important and valuable asset."

"People have always been wary of agencies like the IRS, with their vast, often unappealable powers. But more and more people now fear and loathe them as instruments of political conformity and — it is not too strong a word — tyranny."

The scholar Kimball is always a good read.

Mafia: "No body, no crime."

IRS: "No emails, no crime."

$80,000? That's some job security.

That's likely because our ruling castes are behaving like Czars.

I keep saying, to the point I bore even myself, that Washington DC is chock full for thousands upon thousands of power wielding folks who were not among a few hundred elected by voters.

The unelected run the country now. Most recent classic example is John Koskinen who feels, and says so, no accountability to the few denizens of DC who were elected. Multiply Koskinen by 1000's and you have who governs us today.

Let it not be forgotten that the IRS now manages health care in this country.

Good luck receiving medical care if your thoughts are not Correct Thoughts.

Allen S - perfect.

The most infuriating answer he gave was when Ryan said no one believed him and he smugly said that in his many years of "service" that no one had ever accused him of that, as if that meant anything at all.

So, we are telling you now, you asshole.

No one has ever trusted the IRS. What manner of delusion is that? Can we even guess at how deep the corruption in Washington is - or how high it goes?

May we see the White House hard drive - and the e-mails from Lois on that end?

I suppose not. Transparency isn't the hallmark of this president.
