Lem's Levity has now passed six months of continuous operation, during which time more than 1,800 topics have been posted. Lem's Levity has zoomed through it's infancy and toddler stages, and is now an adolescent blog well on its way to adulthood. Congratulations, Lem!
If you read other blogs, (and we know you do because Lem works closely with NSA and Google in tracking the daily comments, bathing, dressing, showering and grooming of the Lem's Levity commenters), you have probably noticed that this blog includes a wider array of blog topics than many other blogs. That doesn't mean it can't be made better, though, which is why this topic has been posted.
The Department of Commenter Satisfaction wants your input on improvements and changes that will make this blog even better. Call it continuous quality improvement, call it listening to the customers, call it Sunday afternoon without any other ideas, call it what ever you'd like, but offer your ideas and suggestions.
What do you want more or less of? Cats, cooking, maths, photography, music, arts-and-crafts, politics, history, sports, philosophy, chemistry, travels, mud wrestling, open bar, treasure hunts, or anything else? Are there too many topics or too few? Too long or too short?
A few words of caution. Ah.....never mind. Let the path lead where it leads.

Designated Open Threads.
I didn't know Lem was dating Lena. Need to watch that episode....
I think he carbon dated her.
Fewer libtards.
More Rule 5.
Rock and roll hootchie koo.
Clearly I agree with Mumpsimus. More designated open threads.
Bring on the Dancing Girls!
More movie talk.
More stories praising me!
Or, in the absence of that...
More stories lampooning me!
Rock and roll hootchie koo.
Saw Johnny Winter at the incredible Watseka Theatre in my hometown about six months ago.
Poor guy is a shell of his former self. That "life of sin and misery" demands a price.
Doubled over from arthritis. Takes two guys to guide him out onto the stage and sit him in a chair.
"..........has questions for you."
The answer is blowing in the wind.

More about History and Old movies. Plus, more sex.
I'm sort of in agreement with Lydia, but add TV as well--all as seen through the culture-wars lens. (although general stylistic/plot/acting criticques are fine in their own right as well as the sociocultural ones)

Too funny. I listened to his version of Rock and Roll Hootchie Koo tonight. Twice, I might add, guiltily.
(And Rick Derringer's version once)
I would have asked for less calling people racist based on skin color, but that seems to already been dialed back a lot. I'm satisfied.
But I'm good with more movie talk for the next week or so.
More libtards
Somebody was asking for you at Troopers ST.
That hurts my feelings, April.
I was hopeful it would lift your spirits, phx
I know. We need more libertardians.
I would like a free phone for coming here.
Hey - that stings.
If Lem's trying to make us happy clearly it means we have the advantage. Let's take up collective bargaining.
Except I want my own office.
How about weekend movie talk?
I think the progress of this blog has been pretty great over the last 6 months. I wouldn't change too much with the variety of topics, I like that there are a multitude of voices going with whatever strikes their interest that particular day.
I like the serialized Trooper York novella, and would be that some of the other contributors might have some works of short fiction that I would like to read.
More Darcy would sure help.
Just thought I would note that Spring Training Camps opened over the weekend. Astros are setting their sights high on winning 63 games this year.
I have no idea how or even if it is possible, but some sort of suggestion box on the sidebar, with ideas, links, etc., that the regulars could dip into should the creativity well run dry. Or, that the commenters could browse for hopefully suprising and different content.
1. Keep the posts relatively short and use links to the longer post. This makes it easier and more efficient to navigate site.
2. Use consistent fonts for all posts (pet peave).
3. Get some liberal bloggers.
An enthusiastic Amen! to ARM's three points.
Wow six months went fast.
I'd like maybe a weekly selection of "A politician who should be punched in the schnozola" but no one could win three weeks in a row or it would probably become a Chuck Shumer hatefest.

Hear, hear!
I'm w/ Lydia, don't any of you loser, malcontent, mopes go to fucking movies. Annie and LSL don't!!
Speaking of TOP, this enlightened suggestion box is an anathema there.
Bring in blake as our Gene Siskel.
^This.
Aww. Very sweet, Allen! Thank you (and deborah too).
I am going on vacation and I promise I will be around more when I get back. I do have several excuses, but they're all boring!
Blake's movie reviews are wonderful.
