Loved Looney Tunes and Bugs Bunny when I was a kid, and now I get to watch those cartoons all over again with my granddaughter.
Popeye seems to have been banished from TV for non-PC behavior.
Pity.
Popeye and Bluto fighting it out over Olive Oyl... a brilliant exposition of the human condition!
Today's cartoons are not as visually interesting, since they do not employ the cell animation techniques of the old time cartoons. Vector animation programs, which is what today's cartoonists employ, produce flat, one dimensional images. Cartoonists compensate with heavily saturated bright colors and as much contrast as possible.

You can't go wrong with Bugs Bunny.
This one cracks me up...
I hope the Rabbit of Seville is in there somewhere ... love that one.
Water, Water Every Hare had everything I loved as a kid: monsters and mad scientists. It's also the one with Bugs the Beautician.
Best Bugs Bunny moment ever!
Of course everyone's favorite is different. I know Crack loves this one.
If Magilla Gorilla was awake whould say that was racist.
(Crack did the music by the way)
I agree, pollo. That is one of the best.
Evil scientist
