"The attorney heading the internal investigation into potential unfair targeting of conservative groups by the IRS is a frequent and significant donor to both the Democratic National Committee and President Obama, Rep. Darrell Issa revealed today, in what he calls a "startling conflict of interest" that jeopardizes the investigation."
"Rep. Issa, Chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, sent a letter today to Attorney General Eric Holder revealing new information that reached the committee on who is conducting the internal investigations at the IRS regarding the inappropriate targeting of conservative groups. Seeking an explanation as to why the FBI has been unresponsive to the committee, Rep. Issa
noted that current and former IRS officials revealed Barbara Bosserman, a trial attorney within the IRS's Civil Rights Commission, is leading the internal investigation."
"Bosserman's leadership raises all sorts of questions about the investigation's fairness. Rep. Issa's investigations revealed that she has been a loyal financial backer of the DNC since 2004 and has donated multiple times personally to President Obama's two campaigns. Her personal donation total reaches $6,750 to both the party and President Obama."

What difference, at this point, does it make?
The most corrupt, and yes worst, President ever. Congratulations Obama voters. Yea, you did that. The worst in history. Out of all those choices over two centuries you're number 1. Pretty damned impressive for a regular Joanne like you, isn't it?
Worse than Nixon. The only thing keeping Obama afloat is the MSM.
The trouble with Nixon was that he wasn't committed to his corruption. A burglary? Small-time! Even in the era.
You have to be sweeping in your voter intimidation and fraud. Who would dare politicize the IRS? That's unheard of! And so shocking reasonable people just won't hear of it and will hum songs and maybe plug their ears.
Deborah, No!!!! I love your commenting, and posting. You are too rare to let slip away.
I'm shocked, shocked, that a career federal civil servant in the DC area is a registered democrat and has contributed to the democrat party and to the Obama campaign.
But a paltry $613.63 a year? (If we count 2014, which might not be fair to the critics, so lets call it $675.00 per year.) Ms. Bosserman should be way under Issa's radar. She should be more worried about retribution from her own party (and boss) for being such a niggardly contributor.
Regardless, she has such a great name. I hope she is head of her department, whatever that is.
Deborah -- don't take yourself so seriously ;-)
Unless commenting is a disease for you.
Appreciate your company.
Some back after spring house cleaning.
Deb, I don't know what you have planned for that time now, but you were using it very well, and will have a hard time making better use of it than you have feeding us here. Is it something I said? I can do some manscaping, and have that unfortunate growth removed from my forehead.
[D]eborah, I think that you are a very nice person and I'm glad to have met you.
Best regards.
Why no comments on your post Debbie?
Is this the full flounce off or just a modified limited hangout as Nixon used to say?
If you go I will miss you. You can drop off the masthead and just comment occasionally without the responsibility of posting threads. That can be a lot of work and the reaction you get is not always pleasant. So I can understand wanting to take a step back.
I resemble that remark.
Good luck to you, deborah, in any and all of your endeavors.
Yes. What AllenS said.
I hope you would reconsider. You have done a great job here putting up posts and you will be missed.
With the name Bosserman she's got to be a dyke.
Hey Deb, I'm not letting you off the hook. Why? You haven't known ME for ten years.
Wait. Is deborah leaving? Now don't get me wrong, I love you right-wing dingbat knuckleheads, each and every one of you. But deborah brings a little light of life and caring here.
She's my lib crush. Every day I think "maybe I'll email her!"
If she's going I'm outta here.
What a tease.
Okay, if Sixty doesn't want me to leave maybe I'll stay. But SOMEONE has to step up to the plate and post about beauty and selflessness and caring every now and then.
Ugh. This place without deborah.
You should take her at her word that it was a personal decision.
I asked Lem to give you a slot phx. I hope it could work out. I would love to see someone like you or Ritmo or A Reasonable Man get a shot at framing issues from your unique perspective.
It would be comedy gold. Just sayn'
Dear Deborah- Don't leave us! I mean - take a break if you need to, But come back and say hi and join in the conversation whenever. Please.
Nice try Troop but ARM and I already got an email from Lem:
"Hey look, mister. We serve hard drinks in here for men who want to get drunk fast, and we don't need any characters around to give the joint atmosphere. Is that clear, or do I have to slip you my left for a convincer?"
Out you two pixies go!
I hope you agree to be threadmiester phx.
I mean you do have the courage of your convictions right?
I think you will bring some heat to the blog and that would be great. Just sayn'
I think that would spoil the mystique of my image. All this high-level kibbitzing is not as easy as I probably make it look.
Besides deborah's going to have a change of heart. Like her soul sister April Apple says, she just needs a little time.
