Miles Scott, the boy from Northern California thought he was going to San Francisco to get a Bat Man costume. That is all. It's a trap! A set-up. Planned all along through Make a Wish Foundation.
He had barely enough time to finish his lunch when the emergency call came in and the boy was whisked away by a chain of events. The good part is the boy doesn't have to die to enjoy the grand wish made true. The event comes at the end of a long struggle with leukemia that has gone into remission, an ordeal for the family.
Damsel in distress, gagged, tied to a bomb the Joker left her on the tracks. Then off to capture Joker, and then onto confronting the Penguin and as the crowd gathers stop by stop, the boy shy by nature finds his stride.
“So proud of the people of San Francisco, what a beautiful thing they've done for that little boy #SFBatKid,” Twitter user Sterling said. Many wrote that they were misty-eyed and getting emotional watching from offices and homes across the nation.“SOBBING! So many feels!! Miles, you are SO BRAVE!” Stefania Pomponi tweeted.
latimes story.

News item. Anticipation. Preparations.
Batkid races through San francisco helicopter cam no sound.
Bat symbol on Lamborghini. Police escort. Crowds increase at corners. Live tweeted, crowd gathers as event proceeds.
News explains story, mother speaks, thanks San Francisco.
Batkid arrives in San Francisco. immediately taught tumbling.
Why the tumbling? How does a tumble entrance relate to Batman?
Father explains elsewhere. The whole ordeal from the time the boy was two years old has been a series of unanticipated crises that demanded immediate life and death decisions. Tumbling is a way of throwing yourself directly at life's challenges.

Althouse is probably looking down on this. that's my gut feeling.
“SOBBING! So many feels!! Miles, you are SO BRAVE!” [some stupid bint] tweeted.
I'm glad for the kid, really. But I hate that our country is dissolving into a big squishy maudlin puddle of feeeeeeeeeeeellll.
All that thing about puppy pictures, duck selfies, the idea that bullying is a plague... is connected somehow.
At least with kids is something other than myself and my pet...
(looking of the bright side, silver lining, born w/o a silver spoon but having one come into being by just existing in the US at this moment in time)
I feel extremely fortunate to be here, so I believe I should my best to preserve it. it's the least I could do.
So yea... play along with the kid with cancer.
I'll respond when Althouse trashes it.
Trooper has my back ;)
Suffer the little children to come unto Me.
And they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them: and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for such is the kingdom of God.
Lem, most of your commenters are going to complain that the kid is being a pussy.
All while mouthing Christian pieties.
sisification of the kid you mean?
Then there is this leftist tool @shaketini who has to piss all over everything.
The sisification of the kids I refer to, btw, is the feminization, nothing to do with homosexuality.
I wish I could get more into this but I have to leave.
Will follow as best I can on the phone... if I get bars where I'm at.
Time out! It's not a Christian piety if a Jew mouths it. Says so right in the Pentateuch, not sure which book.
That was one hell of a production: 10,000 people, the President, the Attorney General. No, I ain't gonna snark it.
Speaking of superheroes, it turns out that guy did fall out of the plane. The plane has a door that folds down and becomes stairs, so yea that would not be prevented by the plane's speed through the air.
Gotham City needed saving. Thank you, Batkid!
Speaking of Christian pieties... my goodness KLo is turning my twitter into a marathon mass. Love her but i think im going to have to unfollow her.
Yes, Lem, Miles is a total pussy.
He should've just nut-punched leukemia when it first showed up and then beat up lymphoma for its lunch money.
It's a real challenge to make fun of a kid dying of cancer. There was one comedian who told his kid that if the kid ever got cancer, he should tell the Make A Wish people that he wanted to see his dad getting a blow job from Scarlet Johansson before he died. It's worth a shot.
Here is the perfect representation of the people who want to lecture us about
how we should feel and talk about a story like this.
