Yesterday I watched the CNN footage from 9/11, which I hadn't done in a long while. As I expected, it was nerve wracking to watch as everyone was trying to puzzle out what was going on, knowing that it would soon become clear when the second plane hit. What I wasn't expecting (I didn't remember it this way, and I think I had CNN on at the time) was that they were actually showing footage from an affiliate at that moment and interviewing a witness near the scene, and they reacted to the explosion but didn't even see the plane which was clearly visible. It is funny how selective our vision and powers of observation are, and it also says something about how far terrorism was from everyone's minds then.

If the video had a date clock, we could spot the plane that captain Sulinberger landed safely on the Hudson River.
Safely, meaning nobody was killed.
The airplane suffered heavy water damage.
Good video for September 12.
I looked but couldn't spot any of the Mohawks.
