Democrats and everyone else expect Blacks to all vote the same. They expect Hispanics to all vote alike.
The Mexican American judge thing was dumb of Trump to say, even if he believed it, but isn't that the same thing - expecting a Mexican American judge to see things biased toward a Mexican viewpoint? It's demonstrably true that some people do not decide issues in racial terms, and it's also similarly true that many do. It's racist, it's true, and everyone does it. Although it was foolish to say it if you want to run for office, what Trump said about the judge was both reasonable, and racist, and exactly like what Democrats and everybody else does expecting people to vote and think as a block, which they mostly do, but also often don't. That's why if any of us were on trial, we would prefer a judge and jury of people as much like us as possible, and that goes for everyone of any race. What these people are doing is arguing a position they don't really believe or practice themselves. They just want to think they do, to imagine themselves better than the evil people who say the truth even when it's un PC.
The two women make no effort to engage about whether their premise is correct. They just keep repeating the presumption: "racist racist racist." They want so badly for that to be the unquestioned truth. The man tries several different ways to open up debate but they wiggle out from under his efforts. They eventually try to tell the man that he can't even speak to the issue, the turn around and deny they're doing what they just did on camera.
@bags: Someone -- could have been Althouse -- made the point that Sotomayer openly boasted about how being Latina would color her judicial opinions.
I was in the room at that rally when Trump mentioned the "Mexica" judge. I cringed. I knew what he meant but immediately realized how it would be taken.
The funny thing is that the guy is the publisher of the Weekly Standard rag and a #nevertrumper. It is hilarious that he had to defend Trump. But being reasonable and intelligent is not part of the liberal play book these days.
What is also vastly amusing is that these two nitwits have no idea what the "Knights of Columbus" is and that they thought it was a racist organization.
This is what affirmative action is all about. That genius Keith Ellison who is going to be head of the DNC tried to make a great point on TV that Donald Trump was the most racist Republican candidate since George Wallace. Think about that for a moment.
Add that to the mook who said Okinawa would tip over or the dumb twat who said the election was being influenced by the Russians hacking Wikipedia. It is just mind numbing that we have to listen to these morons. But they are the best that the Democrats have to offer.
The Trump University Case is still up in the air. It is a civil case and he can just settle it if he wants. He should actually. He can pay off ten cents on the dollar and have them sign a non-disclosure agreement.
This is the 3rd time I've witnessed a customer going nuts in a Vitamin Cottage.
Today - While checking out at the local grocery store "Vitamin Cottage" aka "Natural Grocers" - some old geezer, in a different check out lane, went on a purposeful LOUD rant yelling obscenities against Trump and all the JEWS! He screamed:-- "Trump and all the Jews are going to destroy the planet - they are Nazis."
He ran out of the store in a huff. I have no idea if the cashier told him to pipe down and control himself. I also wanted to yell back at him from across the store, but I didn't have it in me today.
The Islamic rage-filled lunatic who went on a shooting rampage in Florida, killing innocents at a gay nightclub... that guy's father was all in for Hillary. Any discussion on that?
The Lefties, having ingested Uncle Saul, knew if you called a Whig something that would make him think he wasn't liked, he'd be devastated and fold on the spot.
This is the reason for the Full Court Alinsky.
What Trump understood is that what Captain Brittles said was right. Never apologize, it's a sign of weakness, also an admission you are in the wrong. He also knew the real name-callers were the Lefties and they've been using racist, sexist, homophobe, and mean-spirited for 50 years and people are fed up.
So he spoke Truth to power and didn't back down. He knew people would understand and stand by him.
That's what won the election. Truth.

That's Emmett Tyrrell, founder of The American Spectator. He was a critical biographer of Bill Clinton. Are you sure he was a #nevertrumper?
That blonde clown in the video asked if "The Knights of Columbus" was also an extremist group. Being an obvious marxist, I'm sure she thinks it is. The Nigerian is a novelist, after this they'll probably treat her as the new Maya Angelou. She lives here and I doubt she will permanently relocate home.
I see what you did there, Troop. Matter of fact it would be an easy sideways move for Bernie to relocate to Boulder...or any one of a hundred hippie havens in Colorado. Same mindset.
The "guy" is Emmett Tyrrell, Jr., publisher of The American Spectator. Wow, all the useless information in my head.
While I wish it wasn't, it is true that people often decide things racially which is just a form of tribalism. It's a mistake to count on that, but it's a better than 50/50 bet. It's also something we should resist and dissolve through acceptance and friendship, not force, because these superficial differences of color, language, or origin are far less substantial than the values we can connect on. Most human advancement has come from mixing of disparate people, and cultures. That is the awesome power of America more than any other nation.
One of the most damaging separatist tendencies in power today is that of the left not only expecting, but often demanding that people of a single race, class, or tribe all think alike or be called unauthentic or even traitors. These two women imagine complete agreement within tribes and can't imagine or accept that women, Blacks or Hispanics would vote for someone like Trump. They diminish the people in those groups with that purely racist/tribalist view.
The Trump movement, unfortunately, is mixed on this. It has brought people together, but some in it also jumped to demanding total loyalty, picking groups as scapegoats, and that nearly cost it this election, when it's enemies used it peel off support. I hope and expect Trump to stay above that. It's not really who he ever was. That's why despite all the time he's been in the press over the years there aren't a bunch of tapes of him from the past saying racist or tribalist crap. He's not that guy, even if some people imagine or wish he was.
If you think Guam can tip over, how the hell do get elected to anything? Did his opponent wear a diaper, a Donnie Osmond fanny pack, and carry around a bong?
Haha. National Emergency. Not even goddam Vitamin Cottage is a reliably safe space anymore. The entire world outside your own progressive premise must be "sage-cleansed" (I saw this somewhere; they have a thing for sage) and evil Trump spirits must be shouted away. Begone, racistsexisthomophobehaterzzz, begone from mah presence. AWAY! [Waves sage and self-woven cloth grocery bag. Does tribal dance seen on Survivor. Aaayoyoetc.] Be with us, O Bama!

Who is the poor guy paired with those twits?

Btw, isn't a decision regarding that Trump University case set to come down any day? The left will feed off that forever if Trump is ruled against.

Then let's not stop them as they beclown themselves. Wish there were a way to encourage them to do it even faster.

Huge Moon tonight. Humongous Moon. Good night for hunting runaway Schvartzes..
I posted this at top. I will re-post here.

Guam, but who's counting?

G-damn ampersand beat me to it!
"Never apologize...."
Never complain; never explain. Single greatest bit of life wisdom evah.
I hope you guys are taking a gander at tonight's moon. Espectacular!

I endured it a whole minute. Do I win?
Making Leftist Crazy Again!
Let me know when Trump kissed an exalted cyclops of the KKK. Or kissed the wife of a terrorist leader.
Anyone else noticed that micro-expression when the guy said Marxist?
