More Unexplained “STAND DOWN” Problems.

"Members of a Washington DC Swat team who the BBC has learned were ordered not to respond to Monday's Navy Yard shootings have yet to be contacted by the authorities."

The Capitol Police tactical response team was told by a supervisor to leave the scene instead of aiding municipal officers, sources told the BBC."

Meanwhile, the department has installed a new leader of the elite unit. No reason has been given for the decision."

Gunman Aaron Alexis killed 12 people."

Members of the Containment and Emergency Response Team (Cert) are typically debriefed "right away, at the very least the following day" after an incident, a Capitol Police source said."

"[They] haven't even been given the courtesy of a debrief… They have not even been given an answer as to why the decision was made that they should not respond," the source added."

Another Capitol Police source close to the incident told the BBC: "No-one's talked to these officers since this happened."
---

When the Capitol Police team radioed their superiors, they were told by a watch commander to leave the scene, the BBC was told."

On Thursday, FBI Director James B Comey Jr told ABC News it took roughly half an hour for armed police to arrive and engage Alexis. All 12 victims were killed within that time."

Capitol Police sources suggest "lives may have been saved" if the Cert team had been allowed to intervene."
---

All victims were killed in hallways or their offices, not in the building's atrium as media outlets previously reported."

It would make sense not to send in the Capitol Police if they thought maybe it was Cynthia McKinney blasting away at the Navy yard.

Sounds like a Turf war- did the DC police commish feel she could handle it without their help?

Word is that somebody ordered the military to stand down, when the consulate in Benghazi was under attack.

A year later and closer to home, the same thing happens again?

The people who's job it is to see to it that lives are saved, or at least protected, are told not to do that job, for a second time, that we know of. At home it might have been different people, but, the task was the same.

Notice how it takes the BBC, all the way from fucking England, to even notice the... whatever this is.

I don't think it can be called a dysfunction. This is not a mistake on a budget item. People died.

The take away is that, if some of these deaths could have been prevented and we aren't even willing to look into the facts to determine what could have been done better. There must be someone with extraordinary powers, impeding the normal course of investigation, following potentially politically charged tragedies.

I mean, Am I missing something?

Yes Lem you are missing something.

The people running things these days are ball less bureaucrats. They don't want to be wrong so they let people die. What do they care?

Yes, the alternative is extremely gross incompetence. That too is very believable in this age.

And what difference, at this point, does it make?

Benghazi was the just the tip of the iceberg.

It almost seems like someone wanted those killings to occur. Someone with an agenda.

Truth in the age of the Detroit mafia dems and their loyal media.

Obama told the Capital Police to stand down because they needed to let him vent.

You know like in Crown Heights.

Nothing new here. Move along.

What Troop just wrote in jest is the hideous truth. The creature was expressing his legitimate black rage. Therefore tippy tippy tippy toe around rather than, I don't know, commit a RACISSS act by getting in their as quickly as possible and offing the dreck.

We should adopt that phrase for tombstones instead of "Rest in Peace". They should all say: "What difference, at this point, does it make?"

Good one, bag.

Funny how these things all end up sounding like the Vince Foster investigation.

This is DC's own Benghazi. Nothing will be done or found out. Shocker.
