From Matt Margolis' post on "The ‘No Kings’ Protesters Are Even Dumber Than You Thought" this quote sums up the dumbness:  "The irony is impossible to ignore. These self-anointed “defenders of democracy” marched through the streets screaming about tyranny, yet not one of them could explain what they were actually protesting. The “No Kings” crowd wasn’t fighting for a cause—they were performing one. It was pure theater, another emotional tantrum dressed up as political courage...When all was said and done, the protests achieved nothing beyond a few viral clips and glowing headlines from a sympathetic media. Once again, the left proved it can summon crowds to “resist” without ever telling them what they’re resisting. Maybe next time, the professional organizers behind these astroturf spectacles should spend less time on the costume coordination and more time handing out talking points. On Up, Down, Ready & Digging

 

After reading a comment from a previous post, about how "the Dems are just digging that hole deeper" in regard to their shutdown response, I started looking for cartoons to support the notion of multiple digging efforts relentlessly going on at once. I already had a post title of One Hole & Another, in mind.  But I decided to change directions after watching a video of Hakeem Jeffries calling Karoline Leavitt sick and saying "she's out of control and I'm not sure if she's just demented, ignorant, a stone cold liar, or all of the above."  In addition to more digging in effect, it's starting to look as though a high chair may be more elevating than the hoped for lift! 

Matt Margolis at Instapundit has Karoline's response, in which she "fires back" and concludes "by calling on Democrats to end the filibuster of the continuing resolution, open up the government, and 'stop simping to try to get your radical left-wing base to like you.'”

Simping!  Hmmm.  All of which leads me to wonder if On Digging & Simping might be another title that would work!
