Two years after my mom's death, and a year after her trust had been finalized and closed, we received a Covid Stimulus Check made out to her. Why her name hadn't been removed from the list of living and eligible receipients after her death certificate had been filed with social security and medicare n notified two years prior is beyond me. It was on us to let the gov't know one more time that she was deceased and return the check. They must have finally got the message though, as there've been no more windfalls.
The first is about all they have. I think the idea that Trump and Elon may pull an Old Hickory (which is perfectly legal) scares the Hell out of them. Trump and Elon read the Constitution and get separation of powers. They're trying to invoke the Trail of Tears, but they must be figuring all us racists will stand by them.
PS We're starting to see who the faint hearts among the Rs are.

They were looking forward to her vote in '24.
