The Babe Abides

"I thought this was my girlfriend's house?"

If you said, "It's awfully quiet out there..."

I think it's about to end.

Donald Trump made a statement that can only be construed as a line in the sand - a challenge, maybe even a dare. The issue is, what is behind it?

He issued a statement So now it comes out, conclusively, that the FBI BURIED THE HUNTER BIDEN LAPTOP STORY BEFORE THE ELECTION knowing that, if they didn’t, “Trump would have easily won the 2020 Presidential Election.” This is massive FRAUD & ELECTION INTERFERENCE at a level never seen before in our Country. REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately

So what does he have in mind with this. Fake News wants to dismiss it as crazy.

Ego? Perhaps. An attempt to play the Man On Horseback. Possible, but unlikely.

After the Panty Raid and Brandon's attempt to create something called semi-fascism (we know who practices full fascism), the gloves are off. Trump ups the ante, but does he have the cards?

The gang that can't board an airplane straight has turned most of the country, and a lot of the world, The economy is a disaster, people want the illegals gone, crime is through the roof, and the man nobody ever liked thinks he's fooling people with his new tax bill.

Is this merely a ploy to GOTV? It's that, doubtless, but the willingness to say out loud in a way the Lefties can't dismiss without presenting the facts of the election, as well as the primaries and the mess that's been made since without the usual artifice goes several steps beyond what the pale has become. As his message alludes, the facts are coming out even on the Left.

A sacrifice of himself to advance the America First cause? Trump's not a young guy. Could be he figures laying it on the line for the country that gave him and his family so much might make up a little for all the goofy things he did when he was young.

Could be he's just plain fed up. How would you like the queers and baby sniffers going through your wife's undies.

Joe Rogan & Anthony Cumia - The Bizarre and Hilarious Real Origin of The...

This is how it all started and now they have arrested Gavin and kept him incommunicado.

Gavin McInnes is in the belly of the Beast

Gavin McInnes was arrested by minions of the Deep State while he was broadcasting his podcast.

You might not be familiar with him, but he is a conservative commentator and activist and was the actual founder of the "Proud Boys?" which started as a joke with Anthony Cumia. He quit the group and has not been active with them for the past three years, but the Deep State needs to silence him.

He is essentially an entertainer and comic and they have arrested him because of his view. The government refuses to comment on whether or not they are holding him. This is an outrageous attack on the first amendment!

This action along with the FBI raid on President Trump shows that the gloves are off.

What will we do?

On Megaphones & Tomfoolery

In my despair, and loss of hope for any type of reasonable approach to whatever the current hoopla, folderol, fandangle or tomfoolery coming from the White House involves, I find sparks of hope and fun in the creative responses of cartoonists who to come up with visuals that not only hit the mark but also my sense of humor.   While Joe, in the role of decrepit hero, with his hairy legs, shades, megaphone, and media umbrella, shouts from his high position at the crowd; its this artist's rendition of the save about to be deployed that made me laugh.

Vintage Len Dawson

Rest in Peace Lennie...they don't make them like you anymore

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Len Dawson has passed at age 87.

He was one of my favorite all time quarterbacks along with Kenny Stabler, Joe Kapp and Norm Snead,

You never forget the heroes of your yute ya know what I mean.

He was a legitimate tough guy and won a Super Bowl. Hall of Famer. Met him once at an autograph show and he was a real gentleman.

It's a shame that the league is filled with felons and rapists. Unwatchable in all its aspects. Like many things in life, we can only reminisce about the old times and scorn the new versions that pollute our society.

RIP.

Where's Spinelli?

I hit the tag on Game of Thrones in one of my posts today. I like to that to see what we have said about the subject in prior years. I was thrown for a loop.

There were several comments from Chip Ahoy. That gave me pause. I miss that guy.

That made me think about people who we haven't seen lately here. Like Spinelli.

What's up butter cup.

House of the Dragon is here

I didn't have much hope in the new prequel of the "Game of Thrones" franchise. I was pleasantly surprised.

Now they had to bow somewhat to political correctness as they had a black dude on the privy council and there was a lot of female empowerments rah rah stuff, but it wasn't too bad.

You see they kind of stayed true to the author of the work George Rape Rape Martin who revels in violence and gore especially directed at woman.

The tourney scenes where they jousted and fought at melee were the most realistic that I have ever seen.
But the real scene stealer believe it or not is a birth scene. Not quite "Call the Midwife."

The Queen has not produced a male heir after several still-borns and miscarriages and crib deaths. So, there is a geriatric pregnancy in the hope of producing a male. The birth scene is horrendous. It rivals the scene where they burned an eleven-year-old girl at the stake while she called for her mother. It is heart wrenching. But probably true to the facts of medieval medicine when the heir to the throne is concerned. You have to see it to believe it.

On balance I think it is worth watching. For now.

Snippets

Some of the biggest authors around have websites where they publish snippets of their latest work. Especially sci-fi guys like Eric Flint or George RR Martin or Peter Rholdan. They publish a few chapters of their latest to whet the appetite of their fans.

I am doing that with the book I have been working on called Hipster Holocaust which will appear on my old blog Trooper York.

Now I am not doing that because I don't have a bunch of fans like they do. I just do it as an exercise. Well, that was until I ran into a problem.

My Microsoft 365 that I bought with my new computer has expired. A purchased a different one from this company Mashable which was a great bargain. The problem is as with all great bargains it is not easy, and it is not working yet. I downloaded it fast enough, but it is not working for some reason.

So, in the meantime I will publish some snippets here. I am up to Chapter Twenty-Nine so far as we will see where we are as we go.

Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

If there is anybody out there interested.

Video of the FBI search at Mar Largo has been released.

On Cats & Cattiness

I'm not in the mood to joke about the IRS, inflation reduction packages that inflate and conflate, CDC flip flops, or pox pustules.  These are the two that appealed to me today in catty category of online themes and memes.

On the Power of History, Pills, Brouhahas & Waking Up

"One of the reasons I love history so much is that it's so ruthlessly revealing. Nothing better separates fact from fiction than the passing of time. Things that were once hopelessly opaque become crystal clear, because when compared to the present, the past demands perspective. It's this inescapable process in which facts are made manifest and the truth is exposed that gives history its enduring power and the capacity to shed light on the contemporary."  from Brad Neaton, on Why We Should Question the FBI's Narrative, Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? Who watches the watchers?

On Red and Blue Pills from the wiki:  "The terms "red pill" and "blue pill" refer to a choice between the willingness to learn a potentially unsettling or life-changing truth by taking the red pill or remaining in contented ignorance with the blue pill. The terms refer to a scene in the 1999 film The Matrix."

From Sasha Stone's substack article/podcast, The Raid that Red-Pilled America, The FBI Gets Political and Goes Too Far : "The Democrats, the media, and the blue-checks on Twitter have no idea how many people have been red-pilled over the past three years.

No one who watches Joe and Mika or Rachel Maddow or reads the New York Times will ever be red-pilled. They simply believe that is the only reality. How could it not be if every high-status person in America is going along with it? If your friends and family go along with it, if your social media feed confirms it every day with links. If it’s in the media, it must be true, right? How do you not trust it if it’s on NBC News or the Washington Post?

Waking up to the media’s near-total collapse during the Trump years is a big part of being red-pilled. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it. The only way to escape the media’s hold on the narrative is to cut it out completely, at least until you can see that there is another reality, and very often, the actual truth.

If they hadn’t already given up on the “establishment” watching them crush Bernie Sanders like a bug in 2016, 2020 would do it. The response to COVID was a big one. Dividing the country the way it did into the compliant and the non-compliant. What it did to businesses, to the minds of children, to everyone who was locked down and locked in - unable to attend funerals, weddings, and death beds.

But the raid on Mar-a-Lago very likely has red-pilled Americans even more, especially when you put it together with the authoritarianism during COVID, the suppression of speech, the silencing of dissent, and the dehumanization we all live with every day.

To watch our Department of Justice raid a former president’s home months before the midterms, where the Democrats were expected to do very badly, looks suspect to anyone. If they were trying to create distrust in our institutions, they succeeded. Most Americans have seen, maybe for the first time, that our government has become too powerful, too punitive, and too authoritarian in crushing dissenting voices and outsiders who challenge that authority. We call that being red pilled."

With this conclusion: "...I never thought anything could shake my faith and loyalty to the Democratic Party. I trusted them. I believed in them. That doesn’t mean I think the Republican Party is any better, but they don’t control everything as the Democrats do.

They will probably indict Trump. That will mark the last gasp of their collapsing empire. The red pills will be eaten like candy. No American will ever see them the same way again.

I am not MAGA. I am not a Conservative. My friends and family do not understand why I care about Trump and his supporters. They want me to join them in their hatred. They want me to be inside the same group hysteria as they are. I know where they’re coming from. I used to be among them. I did everything they’re doing now.

But the red pill is a powerful one. Once you find your way out of the bubble of hysteria on the Left, it feels more like normal life. People are people again. And that, my friends, is worth waking up for."

On Her Positive Pinkness, Handholding & Handing Off With Reckless Abandon

OK, batfans, riddle me this.

We all speculate about the raid. I've been saying we're winning, the biggest example to date is Trump's endorsed candidates in the primaries have ~95% success rate. 5 months ago, people said the first few would flop and that would be the end of it. Now we're looking at the possible end of the Uni-Party (YMMV).

The Lefties, along with the results of the crashing economy, Let's go, Brandon, the proposed hit squad of 87,000 IRS psychos, and aid to Ukraine, see all this and are scared purple. So Merrick sends the FIB to go through Melania's drawers (I'll bet Richard Levine has some nifty new outfits) in an operation of world class dumb to find something, anything. And, of course, they got zip

Somebody came up with something better. And I just love it, true or not.

We all know Jeffrey Epstein tried to pal around with Trump. Emerald Robinson wrote a piece on the theory, given more credence than otherwise might be thought, the whole Lolita thing was an intel hit on the politicos, which I linked here. Trump found out what he was doing to those little girls and told him to take a hike.

So what if they thought he had a client list? I mean THE client list, with names, dates, marital aids, positions, etc., not just a flight list.

Proof you could take into court.

And hang people.

And consider Ghislaine is still breathing regular. So is The Donald.

Chew on that one.

On Fully Vaccinated & Twice Boosted

LANSING, Mich. — On Aug 8, Governor Gretchen Whitmer issued the following statement after testing positive for COVID-19.

“This evening, I tested positive for COVID-19.

“Thankfully, I am only experiencing mild symptoms after being fully vaccinated and twice boosted...I encourage my fellow Michiganders to get vaccinated and boosted.

No word yet on whether she'll be checking into an area nursing home if her symptoms worsen.

Theresa got married......not a hair out of place

Theresa Guidice got married Saturday. Her hair was to say the least... amazing.

How many horses lost their tails for that?

There was a lot of drama involved in the nuptials. Her brother and sister-in-law did not attend. Typical of a ginzo wedding. I can't tell you how many weddings I went to where stuff like that happened.

She got a spin off series out of it.

But I doubt the marriage is gonna last. The guy seems like a real grifter and they always expose themselves. Still it might last as long as she is on TV.

Good luck to the happy couple.

You're The One That I Want...... If you were still alive

She could rock a black skintight suit that's for sure.

On Pile-ups & Pointing in the Wrong Direction

Hard to decide which I appreciated more about this one, from Powerline's Your Lying Eyes Edition of The Week in Pictures.  The SLOW sign pointing at him and in the wrong direction for the traffic with nowhere else to go, the loose gravel warning, the peg leg, or seeing the most dangerous thing on the road all geared up for safety with a mic in his hand.  Hat's off the the one who put this together.

The other pile-up provided a visual that made me smile in the face of the weariness "living in the era of peak gaslighting*" entails.  The What's Being Peddled/Pedaled version of things going swimmingly!

*From John Hinderaker's quote in the intro: "We live in the era of peak gaslighting. Recession? What recession? Inflation? The price of gas is falling! The border? We’re plugging the gaps in the wall! Hundreds of billions of dollars in more deficit spending? We’re fighting inflation! Foreign policy? It’s going swimmingly!

You can see how our society has devolved in the simplest things......

Did you hear what happened with the woke "Batgirl" movie.

The movie studio decided that it sucked so bad that they were not going to release it. Burning 90 million dollars in costs because it was irredeemable. The movie was made by the two Muslim directors who botched the new Ms. Marvel series for Disney that also tanked.

They got a Latinx girl to play the red headed Irish girl from the comics. It is another act of gingercide as every red headed white character from Barbara Gordon to the Little Mermaid has been replaced by a minority because...reasons. They were setting up a change in the DC universe in the movies. They are failing miserably in relation to Marvel, so they decided to go full woke. The big three for the last forty years in DC comics has been Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. The plan of the woke executives was to replace them with Batgirl, Supergirl and Wonder Woman. They were going to kill off Superman. Batman was to be retired and played by the ancient Michael Keaton in this movie. Wonder Woman is going full lesbian. It was all to be set up by this movie and the upcoming "Flash" starring that pedophile kidnapper guy that has been all over the news. Well, that was the plan.

When the new corporate honchos found out they pulled the plug. The test audience hated this movie. It was poorly made, and the special effects sucked. The directors didn't want to sexually objectify Batgirl so her costume fit like a potato sack. They were willing to eat that money to avoid turning their brand into a woke catsophe.

Comics and comic book movies are declining rapidly. Both of the big two Comic book companies are failing and about to go bankrupt. The movies are declining in earnings precipitously. You see comics were made with white heroes for the most part for young geeky white kids to buy. The wanted to see heroes beat up villains and hot woman in sexy body revealing clothing. Similar to wrestling as a matter of fact. That is what sold. That is what it is about. When the wokesters and the feminazi lesbians got in they wanted to destroy it. Make it in their perverted image.

The money guys that took over the studio are smarter than that. It remains to be seen if they can reverse the trend.

I mean if they wanted to make a "Batgirl" movie that would sell, they know who they need to get.

In the ruins of Madison Wisconsin Stardate 2712.4,

Captain Kirk: There are many strange artifacts here Spock.
Mr. Spock: Indeed Captain.
Captain Kirk: What is this place.
Mr. Spock: It appears to have been the location of a universisty in the early twenty first century right before the clone wars.
Captain Kirk: I wonder what they were studying.
Mr. Spock: It seems that this the law school. Perhaps that is a symbol of the school.
Captain Kirk: No it seems to be privately owned. There is an inscription, "property of Professor Alt.. I guess this Professor Alt was an important personage.
Mr. Spock: Indeed.

If Star Trek was like J Date

"So it this your first time at the Starfleet Speed dating event?"
"Yes I thought it was the logical thing to do. So what do you do here at Star Fleet?
"I do communications baby because I am very oral."
"Fascinating. Have I ever told you about the Vulcan Vagina pinch?"
"Sounds groovy baby. Oh there be the bell. I have to go talk to the chink. I see you later."

Who the hell needs Batgirl when you have Japanese Anime?

The long spring day,
its mists rising,
before I know it
has turned to twilight,
and the heart that crowds my chest
hurts me so
I moan
like the mountain thrushes.
Then from the mountains
where our great Lord,
a god aloof,
is pleased to wander,
a wind comes blowing,
and as I stand alone,
morning and night,
it turns back my sleeve
and I think how auspicious
is that one word "back"!
Back where her gun is.

I call myself a man of spirit,
but on this journey,
grass for a pillow,
my thoughts keep going back—
no way to stop them—
and like the fires that burn
when fishergirls of Ami Bay
boil down their salt,
these memories burn
deep within my heart.
Of their 50 caliber butts.

Because the winds across the mountain
blow without cease,
each night in sleep unfailingly
I think with longing
of my love back home.

With her clenched cheeks
firing again and again.
