On Target Marketing, Signs of the Times, & Stink Eye

Courtesy of RMalone's substack collection and Branco, with the cartoon below, from Branco's Comically Incorrect website, entitled "Stink Eye" taking the cake for today.

"Branco describes himself as 'somewhere between the Far Side and the right side of every issue.' He sits at his desk daily crafting comically and politically-incorrect cartoons that say with humorous satire what conservatives really think, but lack the opportunity to say to a broad audience. After years of listening to the squeaky wheel of the left advancing the cause of radicalism, Branco decided to use the power of his bully palette to advance the conservative movement. Conservatives worldwide can be glad he did.

According to Branco, 'The art and humor of political cartoons has since the dawn of the Republic been a way to sway those who might not otherwise be persuaded'.

As a political cartoonist, Branco joins a long line of notables who have used humorous satire to drive in the nail without breaking the board on political issues. There is something about the human psyche that makes humor an effective means—often the most effective means—of making a point, revealing political hypocrisy, or pointing out falsehoods."

More winning?

Maybe you've heard of this and I'm just behind the curve, but the word is pronatalism.

It seems the Lefties' worst nightmare is taking shape. It's no surprise the Left is anti-life and, as such, anti-birth. When they started pushing abortion 50 years ago, they also started pushing death in general. Jack Kevorkian and his Death With Dignity (until it was learned if people changed their mind, he wasn't interested), Richard Lamm, Demo Gov of CO, who wanted old people to just lay down and die and fertilize the earth.

Or something.

Well, as Ike Newton put it, for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction, and it looks like the pro-death movement has met its reaction. Now even some of the otherwise natural elite that populates the Davos crowd has seen the light. Like Elon Musk, they want to have kids - lots of kids. As one puts it, "I encourage people who are responsible and smart and conscientious to have children, because they’re going to make the future better".

OK, it does sound a little well, Aryan, but they're not restricting it to the rich and college-educated , so there's that.

What impresses me is that there's even a matchmaking service for the hoity toity who want to have families. Given the Davos crowd wants 7/8 of the human race dead and the rest eating bugs and living in high tech concentration camps, as El Kabong once put it, "HO-Laaaaayyyyyy!!!!!!!".

Pronatalism. Seems like Clarence Thomas really started something.

The Bud That Failed

If you Gargle boycotts right, or any other such combo, you get articles from Salon, the WaPo, Slate, and all the other Lefty Scriptures and you'd think Conservatives don't have much luck at such things. It takes a lockstep mindset such as the Lefties have to be told picket, denounce, firebomb, and boycott someone just because the poobahs say so.

If, however, you look at spontaneous mass action, you'll see Conservatives have quite a clout.

Let's Go, Brandon

Other big outfits like Amazon (lost 1/3 of its wealth), Alphabet (lost 1/4 of its wealth), BoA (lost 1/3 of its wealth) have lost substantially in the last year. All have been very woke.

The Lefties may not want to admit it or they'll claim the economy is lousy, but we're making our voices heard.

Not only here, but in Davos.

On Balls & Bro-haha on a Beer Can

To believe or make believe?  Follow the money one more time. The New York Post offers the most credible explanation for how and why the joke of presenting a biological male as a "woman" is currently being played out in the advertising world.

This week, when I saw Amazon Prime's Girl with Moustache commercial for the first time on Freevee,  I wasn't sure what I was seeing; but it definitely caught and held my attention, with my brain and eyes trying to figure out what was going on.  Turns out, it was more upside-down world being presented, with this as one of the takes offered online:  "The new advertisement campaign launched by Amazon landed on American TV in March 2023, intending to share inspiring messages through symbolic situations that people can easily relate to.

"Olivia Wilde directs the Amazon Prime “girl with mustache” commercial: a message of inclusivity

In the 2023 Amazon Prime commercial, we watch a young woman face the unwanted mustache she saw on her face for the first time. She’s initially worried about it and starts thinking about some way to remove it, but then she has an insight: all the icons she loves have mustaches, and Amazon Prime is there to remind her. Eddie Murphy, Frida Khalo, and Freddie Mercury show up, almost waving at her, proud of their hair. And that’s how the girl embraces her look, buying (on Amazon, of course) a rock jacket and transforming her style appropriately.

On Birds & Dogs in Our Area Have Yet to Be Informed

The forest surrounding us is alive with the sound of bird calls, as the securing of territory and mates is in full swing.  What seems to work best for reproduction and survival in the avian sector is male/female pairing with each bird bearing distinctly different markings in the overall.  When it comes to canines,  dogs will sniff around anything, with some males eager and willing to practice their mounts on furniture, human legs and other male dogs.  In the long run, however, reproduction for them as well still boils down to paired contributions from distinctly male and female reproductive organs.  Stealing the spotlight is a whole 'nother story.  Poor Spuds looks pole-axed.

I don't think it's gonna work.

OK, we've seen the Great Black Hope handle Trump with kid gloves lest somebody pull an Epstein.

Or Ashli Babbitt.

So what do they have? Those felonies are misdemeanors, legally, and I don't think a DA can upgrade 'em all on his lonesome. And he's gonna have to prove the errors in question were known of approved by Donald Trump personally.

Sounds like pretty thin gruel. Of course, a lot can happen, but every move our genius Left seems to make appears to driving away support.

We shall see.

UPDATE: De de deet de deet de deet: More fun stuff from Sundance: Trump spent campaign money on oppo research and stuff which is against some unspecified election law and did naughty financial things while he was not running the Trump organization.
