You won;t believe this crap!

So what is the latest thing that ultra woke Hollywood has come up with?

A coming of age comedy about a kid in Hitler Youth who is dating Anne Frank and has Hitler as his imaginary friend. You can't make this shit up.

Well actually you can. These Hollywood douchebags did. I remember the outrage about "Hogan's Hero's" and how it was denounced as making the Nazi's seem funny and likable. Now this!  Who is the audience for this? Listen I like outrageous humor as much as the next guy but I just don't see it. It seems kind of lame and just to prove a point. It is in fact normalizing the Nazi's and making them cuddly and fun. Of  course that is the agenda of the Anti-Semitic Democrat party led by their Gang of Four. The continual targeting of Jews in New York City by blacks and Muslims is the most under reported story in the media today. This movie was made by a self hating Jew from New Zealand and I bet it will get all kinds of awards.

I just don't get it.

Sgt. Fury and His Howling Commandos #7 (Jack Kirby art) 1964

Nick Fury and his Howling Commandos was one of my favorite comics when I was a kid.  In the early 1960's we had a bunch of TV shows and movies and comics based on World War 2. Like Combat and Twelve O'Clock High and the Rat Patrol. Our fathers and uncles had served and they would often watch these shows and just shake their heads. Of course it was Vietnam time so the more patriotic companies emphasized World War 2 which everyone thought was a just war.

So imagine my chagrin when Marvel changed Nick Fury to a black guy in the movies and cast that horrible racist Samuel L  Jackson. Marvel is great for that They are extremely liberal and politically correct. First they did this stuff in their comics and now it is going to appear in the movies. The next Thor will be a woman. Yes that's right the God of Thunder Thor Odinson will be played  by Natalie Portman who was famous for playing a ballerina. The new TV show about the Hulk will feature the She Hulk. Soon enough they will showcase Ms Marvell Kamala Khan who is a Muslim superhero. Political Correctness is all in the comics and the movies these days.

You gotta serve somebody......

Archbishop Damaskinos Papandreou was the Greek Orthordox Archbishop of Athens and all of Greece from 1941 until his death in 1949. Thus he was the religious leader of most Greeks during World War II and the Nazi occupation.

Unlike Pope Pius of the Roman Catholic Church, Archbishop Papandreou stood up to the Nazi's in a clear and unambiguous fashion. He wrote and published a letter demanding equal treatment for the Jews who were being rounded up by the Nazi's and sent to camps. He stood up to the criminal actions of the government and was willing to pay the price. The German Commander Jurgen Stroop threatened to put him in front of a firing squad. The Archbishop famously told him:"According to the traditions of the Greek Orthodox Church, our prelates are hanged, not shot. Please respect our traditions!"

The Archbishop also quietly told his priests to issue baptismal certificates to Jews who were under suspicion of being Jews by the Nazis so they would not be sent to camps. He stood up in the face of evil without fear or favor and did the right thing.

NYT: Germany Announces Deal on Art Looted by Nazis

"The resolution comes months after the public first learned of the more than 1,280 works — including those by major artists such as Picasso, Chagall and Gauguin — held by Mr. Gurlitt. They were seized by Augsburg prosecutors as part of a tax evasion investigation. When the German news media broke the story of their existence last November, it triggered outrage around the world."
Responding to intense international criticism over how it had handled the art, the German government appointed a task force to investigate their provenance with an aim to return looted works to their rightful owners. But questions lingered over what would happen to the collection once it was released to Mr. Gurlitt, if he is cleared of the tax evasion charges. Legal experts also raised questions over whether the state had been justified in confiscating the collection in the first place.

Mr. Gurlitt, 81, who lived a reclusive life seemingly dedicated to defending the modern art collection amassed by his father, Hildebrand Gurlitt, during the Nazis’ reign, had initially insisted that all the art be returned to him. He declared in his only interview, with the newsmagazine Der Spiegel, that he would not give any of them up. (read more)
