RE: Fraud in Minnesota

"I’m not sure that most Americans understand that in large swathes of humanity, there is no actual concept of “fraud,” particularly fraud against the government.  Instead, there is a belief in the virtue of getting away with what you can to help yourself and your tribe.

I spent a lot of my life in the Middle East and Central Asia, working closely with foreign contractors and foreign governments to provide support to American military operations.  As a US Army officer with a big checkbook courtesy of Uncle Sam, I can’t really count the sheer number of times I was offered bribes to award a contract, or falsify records to do things like create larger (fake) headcounts at places like dining facilities, or to just simply be on the take for future illegal requests.

Of course I had enough sense to never comply with such requests.  Moreover, they were never explicitly structured as “bribes”; instead it was usually along the lines of “Here I have these Rolexes as gifts for you and your wife to show our friendship.”  (Unfortunately, too many US officers and NCOs succumbed to this siren song and ended up breaking rocks in Leavenworth.)

The weird thing about this to me was that whenever I turned down such an offering, it was treated as a grave insult.  I was the one in the wrong, and not the fraudster trying to bribe me.  They considered it rude that I was in their country and refused to accept how things got done.  After all, why did I not want to help my tribe by helping their tribe?

Let me repeat: in these cultures, FRAUD IS NOT EVEN A CONCEPT.  There is only what helps your tribe.

Such thought processes are so alien to Americans and much of the West.  We are raised on the presumption that our institutions are valid, that the rule of law always prevails, and that integrity is universal.  We need these presumptions to have working governments and economies, and without those presumptions—without the mental barrier that causes us not to accept outright fraud—our nation would quickly descend into the economic and social hellscape of countries like…. ummm… you know…. SOMALIA!

So when we import people en masse from cultures that accept bribery and fraud as routine, acceptable ways to advance one’s tribe, we should not be surprised that things like the $8 BILLION fraud schemes of the Somali population in Minnesota happen so easily.

Introducing a fraud-based culture based on tribalism into America is like introducing some sort of lethal virus into a population that has no natural immunity.  The virus will spread and grow, unchecked, because it is so alien to the host.  Similarly, a culture of fraud is anathema to American thinking, and it must be cut out before it consumes the host.

So when you see and hear patriotic Americans decrying what is happening in Minnesota or elsewhere, and when they seek deportation of the offenders, it is not “racism,” it is not “bigotry,” it is not “xenophobia”; instead, it is preserving the American tradition of responsible institutions and national integrity."

On Treasuring & Pondering

There were shepherds residing in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks by night. An  angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid!  For behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people: Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord! And this will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.”  Suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying:

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace , goodwill toward men!”

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.”  So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph and the Baby, who was lying in the manger. After they had seen the Child, they spread the message they had received about Him. And all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.

But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.

On Socks to Fill & Santa

I'll keep this short

Every now and again, you get a glimpse into how Trump's mind works. Actually, a lot of what's happened this year gives you some idea, but this has to be something of a classic.

We all know Sun Tzu is Trump's favorite author and his ability to make end runs around the Demos is well-proven, but this is one of those "THE loophole" dodges that used to populate the culture in the days when books and movies were good.

Tucked neatly away in the National Defense Authorization Act is a little provision that got past the Demos and the Undocumented Democrats, most of whom aren't that bright to begin with. After all the revelations coming out of the '20 election (which Fake News in yeoman fashion still insists wasn't stolen), someone slipped in a little provision that provides for the conduct of penetration testing as part of the testing, certification, decertification, and recertification of voting system hardware and software” by an accredited laboratory

Thus, the Demos will have a tougher time slipping Dr Evil's crooked voting machines into the system.

The part I  love is how many other little nuggets may be socked away in various omnibus bills? The Demos pulled this for decades. Now, like so much else, they're getting a taste of it in reply.

Makes ya proud to be an American*.

* With all the pix of Willie floating in a hot tub on Epstein Island with some unsuspecting 14 year old, you have to wonder what the Demos were thinking. They knew there was nothing on Trump and plenty on many of their own pols and their donors. They were dumb enough to think he'd back down.

As for everybody wanting to see arrests, we all know what they really want is to see humiliation, as if most of the people involved have any shame, at all.

Why arrest them when you can destroy them, and with them, the whole Leftist establishment?

Remember the old Klingon proverb, "Revenge is a dish best served cold"? Show people all that Lefty "caring" is nothing but talk. When it was announced Hitler had committed suicide, Germany came out of the trance. This is similar. Show the poor, dumb sheep that the Demos will exploit them any chance they can get.

On Off the Wall & Underwater

Two of the memes I came across today that made me smile; with the second one providing a visual for the view I hold of education as a fire to be lit rather than a bucket to be filled.
