Another fake out afternoon storm. So much strum und drang, so much electricity released up there, so much frightening of pet dogs all over the place, and so little water delivered, but we'll take it and like it, love it in fact.

Yesterday, Aug. 9, 2016 

This followed another afternoon storm that approached from the west dramatically, showing the water it's dumping as it comes, the wind kicking up as it nears, cracks of thunder, lightning strikes out of frame, the sky darkening, and the whole thing petering out as it passes overhead leaving dry roofs and streets and clear sky for the night.

The wind kicked up and I get excited. Oh boy, here we go.

The wind stopped, the clouds passed leaving everything cooler and dry.
