People in the Cardinal Glen neighborhood in north Charlotte say the man has been doing this for nearly ten years and on Friday, they called police again.
"I was out rolling the trash can on Friday and I just happened to look over there and he was standing there buck naked," neighbor Pecolia Threatt said. "It's not good to have people walking around here naked like that a grown man like that with all these kids out here you know,"
“Because my daughter grew up in this neighborhood. Even this week, when she was home from spring break, she would call me at work and say 'Mom, I'm getting ready to go outside, but let me check if he's out there first'. That's how bad it is in the neighborhood,” another neighbor Adrienna Harris said.
Harris says she's called police numerous times over the last ten years to complain, but nothing has been done. (read more)

"Quincy may build parking lot around resident’s home"
"The family rejected an offer the city made for their two-family home in January because they thought it was too low."
“I’m sure they think they are” negotiating in good faith, Tasney said of city officials. “I’m on the other end; I’m the one they want the house from and I’m not interested in moving.”
“Who wants to take up and leave where you’ve lived for 40 years? If I had to move I probably won’t find what I want in Quincy, but I’ve lived in Quincy all my life.”
“I think it was handled really bad. We didn’t have a chance to vote if we’d like to have this city take a bunch of houses on our street,” he said. “I feel like I’m being taken advantage of, and that’s it.”
The homeowner has the city right where they want him... or something.

"California threatens to seize land..."
[F]rom billionaire if he doesn’t start letting surfers use his beach.
“This is the route he’s chosen, and it’s unfortunate because certainly this is a property that hopefully can be available for those who want to come and enjoy it,” said Betty Yee, California’s controller and a commission member who would help make the eminent-domain decision. “My hope is that it can get resolved through negotiations.”
“I live here, and I want to be able to bring my kids here,” said Krishneil Maharaj, a 35-year-old information technology project manager who recalled scattering his grandmother’s ashes at a family ceremony at the beach a decade ago. “I don’t think one man should be able to cut off access to this beautiful spot.”
