Netflix Scores!

I watched this last night at my brother's. Lately, when my brother and I hang out and watch TV, we've been going retro and reliving some aspect of our childhood, much to my S-I-L's chagrin. She gets left out of all the inside stuff. But we all enjoyed this one! That being said, it's astonishing that Netflix would show anything which vilified certain protected species and actually garnered sympathy for an officially hated species. Purposely being obscure here so not to spoil

And the means justify the ending!

P.S. Dianne Wiest gets the best line.

Meet Charles Manson | Mindhunter | Netflix

I recommend this series. I generally don't like serial killer shows but this one is well done. They interview various serial killers like Manson and Son of Sam. I think some of this is fascinating.

This interpretation of Manson seems to be right on the money. The last post with Tom O'Neil made me think of this episode.

Check out the series on Netflicks. It is pretty good.

Queen Bitch: David Bowie

Last night I was re-watching The Life Aquatic  on Netflix, when this song come on at the end, and then just a little while ago, I came across a Victoria Tweet where she is commenting while watching #The Crown via Netflix. When it hit me.

This is kind of interesting when a kind of synchronicity hits. I just have to be a little bit aware.

I just canceled Nextlix and heres why!

It never ends. I have already canceled my cable subscription because I refuse to support the fake news and the evil that is broadcast television. I no longer follow sports except for baseball which I prefer on the radio so I am not missing anything. I went to streaming video. Unfortunately I have lost one of the prime outlets because of the hate that Netflix's has for White People.

Much like many formerly normal institutions like the Democratic Party, the NFL and the NBA this streaming service has totally surrendered to Social Justice Warriors and has nothing but animus for white people. The current candidates for head of the National Democratic Party run from a follower of the Black Muslims to a woman who says her main duty is to tell white people to shut up. Much like this new Netflix's show. Read some of the tweets in this story from Townhall. Why would you spend money to support someone who thinks this is acceptable?

Identity politics comes at a price. Obviously they think this is cool and ironic and there will be no push back. How is that working out for Kellog's these days? The left sets up boycotts against Ivanka and think they are going to skate when they pull this crap. Republicans buy sneakers too.

I don't think my $7 a month is going to break them.  But if enough of us cancel them and cancel cable and stop going to the games maybe they will start to get the message. I contacted Netflix on their website and they said they would pass my concerns on to corporate. Right. Good luck with that.

Hulu is much better anyway. As is Amazon. Plus Youtube has all of my favorite Westerns. It is not a binary world anymore. Don't take their crap.

"Petition to Pardon Making a Murderer Subject Gets 100,000 Signatures"

Time: Tens of thousands of people are petitioning for the president to pardon Steven Avery, the subject of Netflix’s documentary series Making a Murderer, who is serving life in prison after a 2005 murder arrest.

So far, more than 100,000 have signed a Change.org petition and more than 18,000 have signed a White House petition asking for a presidential pardon for Avery and his nephew Brendan Dassey. If the government petition collects 100,000 signatures by January 16, then the White House has to respond publicly.

Making a Murderer explores how Avery was convicted for murder in Wisconsin. He had been released from prison in 2003 because DNA evidence had exonerated him in rape charges. Netflix released the popular 10-part series on Dec. 18.

The documentary series comes after other popular true crime stories, such as HBO’s The Jinx and the Serial podcast. But unlike Serial, in which Sarah Koenig couldn’t come to a conclusion about Adnan Syed’s guilt, and The Jinx, which the filmmakers ended with Robert Durst’s seeming confession, reviewers say Making a Murderer comes down on the side of Avery’s innocence. Prosecutor Ken Kratz says the series leaves out pertinent information that proves Avery is guilty.
