MrM and I voted today, two voices in the darkness hoping to serve as light, grateful for the opportunity to exercise our freedom of choice and voice in a process we at one time believed mattered and made a difference, and still hold the hope (in the midst of lies, rigging and dishonest shenanigans) that it still does.
And, I'm still working on my Trump red placemats. After seeing his cheerful yellow tie on Rogan's show, I added some squares of that to the mix. This hands-on project has been helping me cope with the election intensity and the swirls and waves of nastiness, silliness, and deception that's been flowing in and filling mouths, screens, mailboxes and airwaves.
I'm at the "whatever will be, will be" stage. Should the two I believe would best serve this nation be denied the opportunity to do so, the winning party and media will be left for the first time in 8 years without their favorite non-stop go-to distraction, topic and scapegoat. And that will leave them in a place of stunned disarray. almost as overwhelming and undoing as a win for the other side would be. We'll have to see what unfolds.
The Demos seem Hell-bent to recreate '16 (or is it '80?). Body double shooting off his mouth to recreate the basket of deplorables and Mike asking why Chlamydia isn't running away with the race seem to be the final touches.

It's all so weird. Daily Mail is running the headline, "Dumpster Fire" to cover the latest turn, as FJB jumps into the garbage pile.

But we're still a week out.
