I always apply masking tape to my windows to keep the boats out. So far so good.
I think I would not want to be stuck in a very tall building with that coming at me. But being down on the ground would be problematic as well what with stuff falling from above. Trapped like a rat. This makes me want to get out of the city.
My memory from the one hurricane I’ve experienced is that the masking tape is to prevent window breakage from the wind not to keep yachts out.
The weather started getting rough,
The tiny ship was tossed,
If not for the courage of the fearless crew,
The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost.
We have a friend who is staying in a hotel in Hong Kong when the storm hit. She is the creator of the shopping application we are working with and she sent us a video. It was horrific.
The water came in the windows of the hotel coffee shop and devastated it. Scary.
The last time there was that much water damage was when Sixty peed the bed.
