Apparently Americans want jerks for their late-night show hosts. Carter is innocent here. He answered a leading question. Some D-bag named Colbert, apparently some jerk (off) atavistic kickback from a more talented specimen of his kind, also not watched, asked our one-time president, if he was too nice to be president because Carter was criticized for his demeanor.
He was?
No, D, he's too old to be president. But not too old to write another book that he's using your show to promote.
Carter was born October 1924. So in October 2018 he'll be ninety-four years old.
And that's too old to be president no matter his demeanor. Respect. You gotta give it to Carter. It takes will to live that long and still write, still be active and alert.
D-bag's next question, naturally, "Does America want a kind of jerk for President?"
Now he's just being obvious. Of course America wants a jerk. A jerk with enough f-you money to rip the whole corrupted political system a new colon.
Carter answered, "Apparently from this recent election, yes."
An answer that doesn't necessarily go to Trump. But then.
I pray that he’ll be a good president and that he’ll keep our country at peace and that he’ll refrain from using nuclear weapons and that he will promote human rights. So yeah, I pray for him.Well phrased, President Carter. Bless you. We pray those things too. We pray the Lord keep you. After we pray praise for God's hand in preventing Hillary Clinton from ever being president of the United States.
There's another entry for Hillary's What Happened litany. God smote her and her whole cabal good and hard.

I must say that Carter is a much better person now that he's in his twilight years. He was never a bad person, just wrong on economics. The left's understanding of economics is Paul Krugian - which is a disaster.
Colbert is a pimp(D)
Carter was cured of cancer and saved by the very Medical system the left would like to destroy for the rest of us.
If progs think he is a jerk; then he's doing the job that I voted him to do. Alternatively, people could have rallied behind Romney in 2012, but they didn't. It became apparent then that a jerk was needed.
Ol' Bucketmouth forgets it takes one to know one.
You are correct, ed, we had a jerk in office from '76-'80. He could have nipped the Iranian situation in the bud, but no, he was on their side.
