She is an English actress who costars in two series that I am watching religiously these days. Both set in England. One more religious than the other. In one she is a no nonsense but utlimately kind figure who grows on you even though she was presented as an officious antagonist. In the other older series set back in the 1700's she is a fount of wisdom and good sense and a much warmer personage. Her scenes with her husband in the show are warm yet heartbreaking.
