House of Cards....you can be dealt with.
Have you been following the Netflicks original TV series "House of Cards?"
It stars Kevin Spacey and Sean Penn's ex wife Robin Wright. It is a show about politics. Which as you know is show business for ugly people. It is up to season 4 right now and I am plowing through it binge watching as you do with Netflick shows.
The first season was really good and the second season started off with a bang. But now the maneuvering is getting a little silly and outlandish. Frank Underwood who is the main character has gone from being the oily Whip of the House to Unelected President and his wiley first lady was his partner in crime....then his rival...and now a partner again. The twists and turns are something to see.
Here is a little spoiler so don't read any further if you haven't had a chance to catch Season 4.
The conflict is based on a gas crisis. Which seemed like a good idea at the time when they made it I am sure but fracking has taken the air out of that balloon. So the whole conflict seems kind of silly. The oil crisis is over since domestic production will take the place of Arab oil. There is a conflict with a Putin stand in based on oil dynamics which doesn't work now either. I am up to the part where there is a contested convention just like the one all of these nudnicks are praying for with Trump. I think this where half of the bullshit that they say on TV or on the blogs comes from. They think they are in the episode on TV and they are the brilliant evil strategists who can fool everyone like Frank Underwood and his chief henchman Doug have done all series. Now I know for a fact that Corey Lewandowski modeled his whole persona as a campaign manager after Doug from the show. He culitivates the same physical look for crying out loud. I know what he did with that broad was heavily influenced by what Doug would have done. You can just tell that he is too influenced by this fictional account of politics and it is bleeding into real life. It is amazing.
I would hope that these people will take a step back and realize that this election is not fictional TV. It is reality TV. It is Real. Trump is really running. Trump is really winning. It is a reality. Just like Honey Boo Boo and Snookie. You might hate them. You might scieve them. You might think they are indicative of the destruction of American Society. But they are real. You have to deal with it.

Is that Elliot Spitzer playing himself?
Ha. Not really. This guy is a tough customer. He is a chief of staff and a campaign manager who actually kills people. A tough cynical out of control guys. I think a lot of these nerdy political types imagine themselves to be him. Corey especially.
They don't realize that they are ridiculous in the extreme.
Why doesn't Spinelli comment on any of Trooper's blog posts? He, Spinelli, is such an interesting addition to Lem's. He adds that element of a car wreck, one can't help but be transfixed. The wreckage of every blog he comments on is left behind for all to witness.
"JohnQPublic" Stirring the pot again. Go back to what you know, lawn boy, ripping off your sugar mommy and dog molesting.
We're a dysfunctional bunch.
Yes indeed April, very dysfunctional and it is driven by one very angry, dysfunctional, odd commenter. Everyone else is along for the ride, sometimes it looks like a 20 car pile up. Interesting from an observational view.
