Haven't heard a peep out of Hormuz or his Gulf station for a couple of weeks. Could it be the crazies finally got the message? e e cummings told us this would be the way things end in the future. Mebbe so, Kemo Sabe.
Then there are those 3 words that would drive the Demos crazy. State of emergency . We know Trump is a great one for the carrot and the stick and it's clear it's getting to be stick time. 84% of the public, Demos included, want the SAVE Act. Looney Thune wants nothing done while he's Senate "Majority Leader". Is that misfeasance, malfeasance, or nonfeasance in office?
Guess it depends on who's (or whose) paying him.
Then there's the Democrats. WI did to Francesca Hong what the DNC and the Sidesaddle Republicans did to Trump in '20. And the crazies are noticeably quiescent. Where are the street marches, the protests, the riots, the weeping and gnashing of teeth?
And reality is finally catching up to Madmani and the Deep State Dwarf.
Are we looking at Galveston 1900? Or is everybody just off on vaca?

I'd say its both for me, Wait and See mode with a bit of Vaca and less time spent online, which is where I receive most of what passes for "news" these days. I've had moments, in recent weeks, when a "what does it even matter?" mood comes over me, yet I know light in darkness makes a difference for good, so I center myself around that and try not to let to let the lies and astoundingly destructive blindness, deafness and overall silliness wear me down.
Reading about Galveston 1900 brought up this AI tidbit "Local U.S. Weather Bureau officials, led by Isaac Cline, incorrectly believed the shallow offshore waters made the island immune to major storm surges."
That's another event I knew little about, unaware it was the deadliest hurricane in the US to date. And yes, I believe there is another major storm brewing, one that could blow in at any time, before or after the midterms.
