It's definitely a sweet song I enjoy enough to sing every now and then when it comes to mind.
Depending on what the kingdom of heaven is considered to be and how lightly or seriously one takes Jesus'claim that it's present here and also yet to be realized, seeing clearly might be part of the picture, now and beyond death.
The announcement of No he can't.......he'd dead" not only tipped me off to his death (thanks TY) it prompted me to sing along and wonder if the soul/spirit part of him that was housed in his body is seeing more clearly, now that the rain, obstacles, and dark clouds had him blind (and come with "knowing good and evil" in earth life) are over and the pain and bad feelings have disappeared.
I hope so. From the books I've read on Near-Death Experiences (which take into account reports from people with different religious backgrounds), I'm inclined to move to the next level holding the belief that it might be possible to see more clearly after death than before.
